Due to inclement weather, some flooding, possible landslide, and thousand evacuees, for the safety of Dasmarineños, CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) and WORK IN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF DASMARIÑAS are SUSPENDED TOMORROW, JULY 25, 2025.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work in other offices and private companies is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | In response to the recent typhoon, under the leadership of FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P AGUTO, DSC, Regional Director of the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 4A, personnel of this station under the direct supervision of FCINSP FRANCIA B EMBALSADO, City Fire Marshal, extended assistance to affected families by facilitating the safe and orderly evacuation of residents from flood-prone and high-risk areas. The team ensured the proper implementation of safety protocols and provided support in transporting individuals to designated evacuation centers.

This effort highlights the Bureau’s unwavering dedication to protecting lives and serving the community during times of crisis.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Declaration of State of Calamity
City of Dasmariñas, Cavite
July 24, 2025

In light of the recent onslaught of Typhoons Emong and Dante, and the continued increase in the volume of rainfall that has caused widespread flooding, soil erosion, and landslides in several barangays, the City Government of Dasmariñas officially declares a State of Calamity effective immediately.

This declaration is made in accordance with Republic Act No. 10121, also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, and upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC).

The declaration of a State of Calamity will allow the city government to:

(1) Access emergency funds for disaster response and relief operations;
(2) Expedite procurement of goods and services needed for emergency response and recovery; and
(3) Mobilize necessary resources and personnel to assist affected communities and prevent further loss of life and property.

We urge all Dasmarineños to remain vigilant, follow official advisories, and cooperate with local authorities and emergency responders. Your safety is our top priority.

Let us continue to uphold the spirit of bayanihan as we recover and rebuild together.
