Valentineโs Day is a meaningful occasion centered on loveโan ideal that aligns closely with the mission of Philippine Christian University (PCU) and the heart of its Dolphins community. For junior high school students navigating formative years marked by academic pressures, social adjustments, and the growing need for connection, the occasion can sometimes feel exclusionary or overshadowed by commercial trends. This project seeks to redefine Valentineโs Day as an inclusive celebration that strengthens the fabric of the PCU Dolphins family.
Anchored on PCUโs core values of faith, character, and service, Hearts United: A Celebration of Love provides junior high school students a platform to express gratitude, extend compassion, and build meaningful bonds with peers, teachers, and the broader school community. Aligned with the institutionโs commitment to holistic youth development, the initiative encourages values formation rooted in faith, shapes positive character through acts of care, and emphasizes service to othersโreminding students that love is expressed not only through personal connections but also through dedicated support for their community.
