The University Student Government (USG) High Court has ordered the removal of Executive Secretary Trinity Gallamporte on May 29 after finding the official guilty of constitutional violations involving non-disclosure of transactions affecting student interest.

The decision came after Gallamporte pleaded guilty to all charges, which stemmed from the failure to publicly disclose government progress reports and attendance records as required under existing USG laws.

In its final ruling, the respondent was found guilty of the following:
• Four counts of violating Article II, Section 15 of the 2019 USG Constitution
• Three counts of violating Article III, Section 9.3 of the 24th Acts of Congress
• One count of violating Article III, Section 9.4 of the 24th Acts of Congress

The Court ordered Gallamporte's immediate removal from office, termination of all powers and authority attached to the position, and turnover of all official records, documents, credentials, and property under the Executive Department within 48 hours.

“Public office demands competence, diligence, integrity, and fidelity to the Constitution and laws governing the student body. Accountability and transparency are continuing obligations expected from every student public officer at all times and under all circumstances,” the High Court emphasized.
