For DONNA MAIKKA MARCIALES BALDOS, it is such a great privilege to have the opportunity to be among the nominees for this year’s Most Outstanding School Paper. Although it is already an achievement, she considers herself deserving of the award because of her unwavering dedication to going the extra mile to fulfill her duties and responsibilities in service to her students, colleagues, superiors, and to school itself.
She always ensures to make learning her priority while creating an enjoyable classroom environment because her goal is to teach not only to educate but also to inspire.
She has been assigned to do a special task way back 2014 when she became the Assistant School Paper Adviser of Filipino Publication – Ang Silayan. During those years, she attended seminars, trainings, and workshops about journalism to hone her skills and abilities in writing.
As part of professional and personal growth, she took and graduated Master of Arts in Education major in Filipino at Laguna State Polytechnic University year 2022. And currently, she is pursuing her doctoral degree in Filipino at Polytechnic University of the Philippines to deepen her proficiency in her area of instruction and be able to share her knowledge and expertise with her students, colleagues, and superiors. "
