โ€ผ๏ธ We donโ€™t celebrate Halloween because as followers of Jesus, we canโ€™t glorify what He came to destroy. The Bible says, โ€œWhat fellowship has light with darkness?โ€ (2 Corinthians 6:14). Fear, death, and evil are not things we play with, theyโ€™re the very things our Savior conquered on the cross.

Halloween might seem harmless to the world, but to those whoโ€™ve been redeemed, itโ€™s a reminder of what weโ€™ve been delivered from. We donโ€™t need to dress up in darkness to feel alive, weโ€™ve already been clothed in His light (Ephesians 5:8).

We celebrate life because death was defeated. We celebrate truth because lies were exposed. We celebrate Jesus because He alone is worthy. The world may have one night of fear, but we have an eternity of freedom in the Light of the World.

So no, we donโ€™t celebrate Halloween โ€” we celebrate the One who overcame it all. โœ๏ธ
Because once youโ€™ve encountered the risen Christ, you never find joy in the shadows again.

โ€œThe light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.โ€ โ€” John 1:5
