Talking about horror stories, one that is heartbreaking too is the case of Butchoy which was sadly not pushed through. It happened here in Davao. A very sweet puppy was sleeping by their house, accused of being a threat in the community by an allegedly throuble-maker in the community.

Butchoy was ha(ked to death while asleep. And the man, also some people who sided with the man said that dogs are dangerous because they carry rabies. A sweet dog was killed because someone just felt like doing so.

But no one would simply fight for an animal.

He cannot speak.
He does not know he has rights.
He cannot vote.
He cannot tell their truth and the lies made about them.

But he can silently tell the world of whether humans are kind or brutal. He can tell the world if mankind is doing its duty as humans with intellect or simply mankind claiming superiority over animals.

Butchoy must have been forgotten already, but never for us. Not a day we do not hope for karma, for laws of nature to go after those who without conscience hurt animals and seek justice for these victims.

There is a law, but when we do not stand for what is just, we are the ones making it useless.

Matod ni Reyes, ang pagtinabangay tali sa mga ahensya importante aron masiguro ang accountability ug mabalik ang mga pondo nga nawala tungod sa korapsyon.

“Alam natin na bawat pisong ninakaw ay pisong nawala sa serbisyo para sa tao. Kaya’t mahalaga po na sama-sama tayong kikilos at magtulungan para maibalik ang pera na pag-aari ng taumbayan,” matod pa ni Reyes.

Ang mga electric taxis naggikan sa Vietnamese automaker nga VinFast, diin pipila sa mga features niini ang long-range batteries, fast charging, ug ang zero-emission performance.

Kahinumduman nga nauna nang mibyahe sa kadalanan ang Maligaya e-Taxis, nga mao sab ang pinakaunang electric taxi dinhi sa Dakbayan. Ang mga behikulo gilantaw nga makatabang para sa sustainable ug eco-friendly public transport.

Sa iyang talumpati sa South Korea, gipahayag ni Presidente Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nga tumong sa administrasyon nga mapalambo ang Pilipinas aron ang pagtrabaho o pagpuyo sa gawas sa nasud mahimong kapilian lamang, ug dili tungod sa kakulangon sa oportunidad sa Pilipinas.

“Kailangan ihanda natin ang ating mga kabataan sa kinabukasan para hindi na nila kailangan mangibang-bansa,” matod pa ni Marcos.

“Pagka-naayos at napaganda natin ang Pilipinas, traveling abroad, working abroad will be a choice. Kaya’t iyan po ang aming hangarin,” dugang pa niya.

Ang City Government of Davao pinaagi sa City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO), nagpahigayon og ground-breaking ceremony alang sa itukod nga 2-storey Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Motorpool Facility nga nahimutang sa may Brgy. Ma-a, ning syudad kaniadtong Oktubre 28, 2025.

Sumala kang Alfredo Baloran, ang labaw sa CDRRMO nga ang pasilidad magsilbing central hub alang sa operational vehicles, heavy equipment, ug uban pang lifeline resources nga gikinahanglan para sa disaster response ug recovery efforts. Aduna sab kini mga storage areas ug quarters alang sa mga personahe.

Ang proyekto nagtinguha sa pagpalambo pa sa emergency preparedness, inter-agency coordination, ug ang kapabilidad sa disaster response sa Davao City.
