𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼'𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵-𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼: 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮-𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘇 𝗕𝗮𝗿

One warm June evening, my friends and I strolled around Davao City and discovered a restaurant on Artiaga Street: Gringa-Tapaz Bar. This Spanish-Filipino fusion restaurant welcomed us with its vintage decor and cozy atmosphere.

It's a two-story resto, featuring a Study Zone upstairs where students can work and relax anytime. We had a fun night playing games like Monopoly and Snakes and Ladders, making the evening even more enjoyable.

I loved the Matcha Latte and Red Sangria, though the Cajun Fries were a bit too spicy (for our liking haha).

If you're in Davao City, you must visit them for a great night of food, drinks, and fun.

The lash artist skillfully applied the volume whispy extensions, enhancing the natural beauty of my eyes. Not only did the lashes look stunning and oh-so-natural, but they also lasted an impressive 30-40 days! No need for mascara or lash curlers - it was a true game-changer!

3. Soft-Gel Nail Extensions:

Next on the list was a soft-gel nail extension treatment, and once again, So Chic Davao didn't disappoint. The nail technician helped me select the perfect shape and length for my nails, and the result was breathtaking! Not only did they look glamorous, but they also stayed flawless for over a month. No chipping or breaking - just beautiful nails that added a touch of elegance to my everyday life.

4. Laminated Brows:

Perhaps one of my favorite services at So Chic Davao was the laminated brows treatment. The expert brow artist shaped and laminated my eyebrows, giving them a natural but polished look. Making a wish today 🤍🎂

Behind the smiles and laughter lies a journey marked by countless panic attacks and desperate moments, where I faced the darkness of my own mind. I can't help but reflect on the people who have stood by my side through everything that I face. My friends, the ones who have held my hand and offered their unwavering support. My family, especially my loving sister, parents, and to Kevin, you have been my safe haven. And to my colleagues and officemates, your understanding and compassion have played an integral role in my healing process. Even my virtual friends, whose kind words and shared experiences have provided solace in the darkest of times.

As I commemorate this special day, I do so with a purpose. I carry within me the hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire others who are fighting their own battles with mental illness. We are not defined by our struggles but by our strength that we gather from those who uplift us. Let my day be a testament to the fact that we can overcome, we can heal, and we can find joy in the midst of our pain. Thank you to all who have played a part in my last year’s journey.
