DAVAO-JAPAN DIRECT FLIGHT IN THE WORKS
Ishikawa Yoshihisa, Japan's Consul General, revealed during the celebration of Emperor Naruhito's birthday at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City on Thursday, February 13, 2025, that Japan is considering launching a direct flight between Davao and Japan.
The initiative aims to strengthen ties between the two regions, enhancing tourism, business, and cultural exchanges, while improving connectivity.
Currently, there are no direct flights between Davao City and Japan. Travelers typically need to connect through Manila or other regional hubs.
