The spirit of camaraderie culminated within the PSHS-DRC Gymnasium as students, parents, staff, and members of the Barangay Sto. Nino Council for Women completed the Anti-VAW Fun Run held on the morning of December 13, 2025.
The 2.51-kilometer route, which looped throughout the barangay, starting from Gate 3 of the campus, featured many runners accompanied by their families, friends, and colleagues, who were guided by personnel from the barangay.

As more participants reached the finish line, the gym was filled with food stations for the community breakfast, featuring delights such as malunggay pandesal and taho.
After the community had settled down, Dr. Jonald P. Fenecios, the Campus Director of Pisay-DRC, stated that the activity's motive was not only for the run itself, but also for the shared purpose that united the school and the nearby community.
Following this, the Zumba Dance Challenge took over the gym's dance floor, with members from various batches and units encapsulating their creativity under the theme, "Bangon Babae, Sayaw ng Pagbangon," where batch '28, batch '30, and the barangay's Council for Women took the podiums, respectively.

Moreover, a barangay leader also mentioned that the cause behind the campaign-driven fun run was to fund the dource of income for the women of the barangay.
"Ang kaning tanan, ang cause ani, ay pagtabang sa livelihood sa kababaihan," emphasized Hon. Purificacion "Pinky" Tolentino, the barangay's Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person, as she expounded on the vital role of the event to provide more opportunities for the unfortunate women in the area.
In total, 30 sacks of rice and an amount of 30 thousand pesos in cash for additional livelihood were turned over to the sector.
Sto. Nino's Punong Barangay, Hon. Romeo F. Alberca, then stated that the partnership between the two bodies was fortified with the run done earlier.
The project not only showcased the spirit of assistance and a steadfast commitment to ending all forms of violence against women, but also fostered fellowship that extended beyond campus boundaries.
