DAY 1
We left Davao 12:00 am, arrived at Surallah for breakfast at 5:00 am. Thereafter, we headed to T’Boli Tourism Office for the hiking permit. At exactly 6:00 am we headed to the receiving area, left the van, got our tents ported so they can prepare our area at the campsite ahead. From the receiving area, we hired a motorcycle to take us to their tribal office located at Sitio Kule for a pre-hiking orientation (30 min travel), you should also prepare 20 pesos for the toll fee.
About 9:20 am, we reached the tribal office located at Sitio Kule where we had our pre-hiking orientation. You can also hire some bag porters here if you want to have your bags ported para mas easy ang hike nyo. In our case, we did not avail this.
According sa aming orientation, the Kule Trail has 5 stations before you reached the campsite. Almost 10:00 am na kami naka start ng hike. At quarter to 11:00 am, we stopped at the first station to have our lunch. Every station, there is a small store where you can buy some food, esp SUGARY food and drinks kay need ninyo ni for the entire hike for ENERGY! 🤣 So every station we stopped for a bit, rest and eat ganern lang. At around 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm we reached the view deck and unfortunately, inulan kami. We were able to have minimal good shots ng lake.
Fastforward, we arrived at the campsite at almost 3:00pm, with our tents ready to use na (thanks to the porters) 🥹🤩 Had our quick nap, called by our guides na to have our dinner. After dinner, we had our group gathering, got a little drink and laughters. The best among group! 🙌🏻
DAY 2:
The weather is not that good. Maulan so we decided to go early to see the “Outlet” and maligo. We rode a boat going to outlet, paid 200 pesos. Naligo, kumain and after an hour we went back to campsite. When we went back our sumptuous breakfast was already prepared by our guide. Had our breakfast, nag ligpit, nag prepare and we started our hike going home via Salacafe trail. This trail is a bit easy than Kule trail. We only took I think 2-3hrs hike compared to Kule trail that is 5hours.
We were able to reach the receiving area at 3:30 pm, had pictures taken and received our certificates. Thereafter, we started travelling back to Davao.
Rating: 10/10 the best kaayo ang guide, the best ang food and the best ang view 🤩 Go see the Crown Jewel of the South for yourself. 🙌🏻
