A series of fortunate events 🤍🇻🇦
What started as a solo trip for a course in AI, Human Rights & Ethics in LUMSA Academy and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNCRI), turned into something so much more than we could’ve imagined. Swipe to some events with our angels, new friends, and other fellow newly weds during the event (or those renewing or other married couples allowed by the Pope to have a blessing with them that day).
Edit: Kaya naka white ako FYI sa mga gusto humirit (and so were every other married couples to be blessed na suot pa nila wedding dress)
From a supposed solo trip to Cheeno suddenly joining..
To a simple last minute decision to hear Sunday mass at Santa Anna…
To meeting the Filipino community in church who follows my social media…
To meeting our additional prayer warriors…
To exchanging stories with Filipino priests here and Bishop Elais…
To meeting the only Filipino Swiss Guard…
To walking through the Holy Doors for Jubilee 2025 and obtaining the certificate to pilgrims…
To gaining plenary indulgence..
To meeting and being blessed by the Pope as (relatively recent) newlyweds. 🙏
We didn’t come here expecting anything. In fact, we did not plan any of this spiritual journey one bit. We had no connections, no itinerary—just faith and a bit of heartbreak still carried from the past. But God moved. He aligned schedules, delayed flights (due to sudden world conflict), and opened doors we didn’t even know existed—literally and spiritually.
Today, we leave Rome with renewed faith, deeper love, new friendships turned family, stronger marriage, and one unforgettable blessing we now share with you.
So to those who come across this feed: May God bless you, your home, and heal your hearts.🤍🕊️ May His grace reach you, just as it reached us—unexpectedly, perfectly, in His time.
