How Po? 😅 — The Battle Cry of Unprepared Freelancers
Hey there, aspiring VAs and freelancers! So you’ve decided to jump into the freelancing world, ha? Exciting! But wait, what’s that you keep saying? “How po?” 🤔
"How po?" when asked about your skills.
"How po?" when given a task.
"How po?" when facing clients.
Naku, sweetie, “How po?” won’t get you very far! 🎢 Let's break it down, shall we?
Here's a reality check:
1. Reading is Fundamental 📚
Magbasa ka naman minsan! Don’t expect na lahat spoon-fed. Google is your BFF, okay? Wala nang “How po?” pag nandiyan na ang sagot sa harap mo. Try mo kaya basahin yung mga guides, tutorials, at resources available online. Hindi yung puro pa cute sa TikTok, online games, tulog, at K-drama ang focus mo (ok ang K-drama if kaya na sa time hehe - palusot)
2. Study Like Your Future Depends on It (Because It Does) 🎓
Kung gusto mong kumita nang malaki, mag-aral ka! Learn new skills. Walang kliyente na magtitiis sa “How po?” forever. They need someone reliable, not someone who needs hand-holding every step of the way. Libre naman ang mga online courses minsan, so take advantage!
3. Prepare or Perish 📝
Walang ready-made success sa freelancing, sweetie. Prepare for every client meeting. Research their business, know what they need, and show them you’re the best fit. Puro “How po?” will only show them na hindi ka handa. At sa mundo ng freelancing, preparedness is key.
