Conveniently her social anxiety gives her so much power that makes her OP! I really like Secrets of the Silent Witch on the get go. Both funny and cool. The visuals, don't get me started. It's really really good in a way that I would love to see more. I have read the source material before and I could really say that this story is not cheesy nor OP for unknown reasons coz it has a great world building, character developments, and magic galore. If you love a show that focuses on character developments, with OP magic, great humor and stunning visuals, this is really for you! Yes, I call upon all shoujo fans out there, this is my shoujo anime this season.

"WHEN BL AND HORROR GENRE COLLIDE, PERFECT COMBINATION"

When the vibes are vibing & the plot is laid out, will you stick with it? OF COURSE!

The main goal of this series is not to bait those who like BL or avoid by those who don't like BL, but to bring forth the ominous horror feeling the main character has in his predicament to us viewers. I love BL and this is a new take were Horror, mystery and BL blends really well together.

Hikaru is gone, the supposed monster pretending to be him, controlling his body, with all of his memories, tells Yoshiki he likes him. Now, Yoshiki is playing pretend with an imposter because he knows he can’t ever get Hikaru back😭

What lies beneath the mysterious death of the real Hikaru? Is Yoshiki actually safe? Is there a story that needs to be uncovered? Well, we just have to find out!

THOUGHTS:
I've read the manga, and I really like it. It's really not your usual BL troupe, given it is horror, but I had my fair share of BL horror stories that started good but failed in the end. Despite it's BL genre label, everyone will really dig into this because of the vibes it's giving that BL is not actually being portrayed always but rather the ominous horror and mystery vibes.

Highly recommend for you guys to watch it coz it's really good. Horror fans, this is your anime this season!

"HELL NAH. SORRY, IN THIS SERIES, IT WON'T SURVIVE"

Closing Spring 2025 with this one...

You all so graciously PM me since last May to cover this series which I heavily avoided but yeah, you guys want me to see the glory this show will give me and indeed, it never disappoints... Disappoints in pushing my buttons when it comes to the blue haired individual.

Some might like this show but it's not in my alley. I like romance shows, even the cringe ones I watched it, but this series is making me hinder to like it because of the characters, mainly Himari. This blue haired individual gets on my nerves along with the oh so forgiving ML when he had a better choice than sticking with her.

Sorry if this may come off as a rant review but yeah, this show didn't stick with me although it had the potential. I can't fully express my thoughts coz maybe there are fans of this series and I don't want to come off as a rage bait individual. I finished watching all 12 episodes ok? in order for me to write this.

Good thing? the animation I guess? 😅😭

If it's good for you, I respect you and I hope this post doesn't make you hate me, it's just my subjective opinion. We have different tastes in anime but this show really didn't hit for me...

In real life though, Boy-Girl Friendships can survive coz it doesn't mean that a male and a female being friends makes them predestined to be dating or in a relationship in the future. So yeah. Thank you.

"SOUL CRUSHING YET POWERFUL PREMIER"

It's not for the faint of heart...

I felt like my soul left my body during some scenes & it's very understandable coz it's hard to watch because of our own sadness feeling towards the main lead.

"Takopi's Original Sin" Episode 1 was one of the most soul crashing openers to an anime I have even seen.

The juxtaposition between the beautiful visuals and the dark story is incredible which kudos to the director and the studio but we gotta address the elephant in the room, the story and it's gut punching themes.

You see, I was once a victim of Extreme Bullying and seeing on screen, in an anime, how much bullying affects you, it resonates with me so much. Sometimes, it's not easy to just walk away with everything they do to you, to the point that it brokes you inside and you just want to end your suffering. Good thing I had help from my family to cope with my depression & live a normal life now but in this series, she really needs extreme help; although for me, at least she finds solace from her "friends" (octopus alien and the dog) but the story itself is reflection of reality that some people have this kind of circumstances as well and that we hope they find their own peace, solace and happiness in order to live normally again.

It got depressing for a second but please do watch this series. Though it has these themes, it is very handled well by the mangaka and so does the anime with it's stunning visuals and voice acting. Definitely will stick to this one coz it's only 6 Episodes in total.

In this fourth episode of this month's Pride Month Series Review, we will dive into a story that brings sweetness, sexiness, and teasing on another level. I mean it when I said the TENSION IS TENSIONING OK? It has s**t too but you gotta wait for it coz the teasing and kissing comes first yeah?

"NERD PROJECT" by G Jyeo

PLOT:
Luke is having a rough time in college, and his breakup with his girlfriend Stacy is not helping. This is all because of that nerdy stud, Andrew! If only Stacy didn’t obsess over Andrew’s dorky charms, then Luke wouldn’t have had to break their relationship off! To make matters worse, Luke is then forced to live in the same dorm room as Andrew! But with nowhere else to go and no money to his name, Luke resolves to make it his project to befriend Andrew, whether the nerd likes it or not!

THOUGHTS:
This series brought different themes and flavours. Not only does it deal with psychological trauma with Andrew's experience but also provides us with the chemistry we needed in order for us to stick with it. Luke is a beauty Uke to be honest & I love how he very much respects and understands Andrew in his own circumstances and tries to meet half way with him so that their relationship works and blossoms. I am very much excited what this series has more to offer for me coz season 2 just finally released & I want to have more backstory and growth between the main leads. THE ART IS SO MAJESTIC THAT I CANNOT TAKE IT! And can I just say that F*CK ANDREW'S DAD?

Overall it is a really great read and the wait is always worth it. we like that yearning with a tad bit obsessive seme to our strong willed uke right? Definitely I will recommend!
