When Ethan Kyle Lim started Cacao de Davao, he noticed something simple.

If you wanted to buy local Davao chocolates as pasalubong, there weren't many places to find them, especially inside the city's biggest malls.

Instead of waiting for someone else to solve the problem, he did.

He started with a kiosk.
Then came three branches across Davao.
Then Butuan.
Then Cebu.

Today, Cacao de Davao has expanded to Luzon, with locations strategically placed in SM malls, making it easier for travelers to discover and bring home authentic Davao products.

Sometimes, growth doesn't begin with a groundbreaking idea. It begins by noticing what's missing and having the courage to fill the gap.

The opportunity isn’t somewhere else. It’s already here in Davao.

One of the most powerful lessons Ethan Kyle Lim shared wasn’t about cacao. It was about perspective.
