Hi Chingu! (I’m back)

Here’s one of the most worth it Samgyupsal+ Shabu Shabu restaurants I’ve tried! (But it’s in Cebu)

For only ₱588, everything below are unlimited na, including drinks (cold and hot) and ice cream as well! 🍨

The quality of their meats were so good and the marinated meats really had good flavor choices.

-The location was accessible and they have a lot of seating space. It is easy to spot since it’s near the main entrance ✨

Pricing: 9/10 💴
-For its price, it was a good deal na uy! Haha crazy how everything was unlimited and there were no hidden fees! Must try jud 🤝🏻

Food- 9/10 🍽️
-Meat quality was really good, even the drinks weren’t watered down. (Only wish ko is magka branch sila sa Davao)

Service- 10/10 🧢
The staff were very hands on, they were really attentive to the customers’ needs and requests.

BillyJean's Bistro & Restaurant

A new Scandinavian + Thai Bistro and Restaurant has opened its doors in the lush neighborhood of Juna Subdivision, Davao City 🏘️

Located at SION Building, beside Keepsakes Juna, their extensive menu offers a variety of food and drink options that are surely worth a try! They are open from 11am to 11pm daily, (with a large seating capacity!!) perfect for celebrations, meetings, gatherings and more!

Wanna know more?

Well, with the short chat that I had with the owners, this restaurant is already their 5th, with the other four restaurants located outside the country.

But the real question is, how was the food?

With Chef Billy’s 35 years of culinary expertise, Billy Jean’s Restaurant is one to watch out for in the culinary scene. ⭐️

Long story short- It was really good! 🥹

So good, we had to go back to try other dishes that they offered

Tonight I’ll be sharing to you a personal project I’ve been working on for months now 🥰

The first and only matcha focused cafe (tea room) in Digos, The Matcha Society

This started out as a hobby that turned into a lifestyle change- since as most of you know, ceremonial grade Matcha has the highest concentration of antioxidants and contains a lot of healthy benefits to it 🍵✨

Location: 8.5/10 🏢
-The location was accessible and they have a lot of seating space. It is easy to spot since it is in the main facade of Poblacion 🍃✨

~They have a spacious underground parking lot as well, if you’re planning to drive to Poblacion

Pricing: 8.4/10 💴
-The food were a bit pricey but given the serving size + quality and technique used to make them, worth it naman.

Food- 8.9/ 10 🍽️
-Hailed as one of TatlerPh’s restaurant recommendations, we expected that all of the dishes that we tried will be good, and true naman.

Service- 10/10 🧢
The staff were very hands on, they were really attentive to the customers’ needs and requests.

I tried their taco+ consommé: it was not too greasy, since the consommé and lime cut through the meaty taste of the beef 🥩

The burger meal was seasoned, the cheese to bun ratio was an 7/10 🍔

-accessible especially if mag commute ka since it is located at near schools and usually halos tanan pang south and downtown routes mag agi, they also have a lot of seating space🍃✨

Pricing: 8.5/10
-The quality speaks for itself, fresh ingredients and well sourced ilang meats, it was all meaty in the best way possible

Food- 7.5/10 🌮
It was seasoned naman, but maybe I wanted it a bit more spicy since medyo in the fatty/greasy side siya 🌶️

Pricing- 8/10 💵
For the serving and quality, worth the price naman, but pwede pa bigger and a bit more ang sides 😅

Service- 7.5/10 🧢
The staff are quick, and cleared the tables dayun but they weren’t as approachable and wala ra nag talk si Kuya as he did his job hehe 🥲

Hi Chingu! part 2 of my Cacao Culture discovery is their 𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒂 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 🍵

This drink was surprisingly one of my matcha recommendations here in Davao 💘

It had the earthy, umami flavor that I love about matcha but the white chocolate makes it palatable for those who want a bit of sweetness in their matcha lattes

I won’t be rating other aspects since this is just a pop-up in Poblacion, but let’s just say this is one of my favorites 💫

Hi Chingu! Tonight’s new discovery is Cacao Culture’s 𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 🥺🫶🏻

This drink was from their pop-up at Poblacion but they also have a new branch in Juna Subdivision ( I’ll try to go there next time to try more drinks and products!) 🎀

This drink was one of the best iced chocolate drinks I’ve tried! 🍫

It had such an interesting flavor profile- with notes of caramel, citrus 🍊 and a bit of whiskey!

The 12oz was truly not enough! 💘

I won’t be rating other aspects since this is just a pop-up in Poblacion, but let’s just say this is one of my favorites 💫
