Personnel of Police Station 6, General Santos City Police Office, conducted Project Boots on the Ground Surveillance (BOGS) within its Area of Responsibility to strengthen police visibility, deter criminal activities, and ensure the safety and security of the community.

The activity forms part of the station’s proactive measures to maintain peace and order through regular patrol, area monitoring, and engagement with residents and business establishments.
Police Station 6 continues to encourage the public to immediately report suspicious persons, activities, or incidents to the nearest police station.

𝗢𝗡𝗘 (𝟭) 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗

As part of the intensified campaign against illegal drugs, personnel of this Office under the supervision of PMAJ JUNEL REY S. GATERA, Station Commander, together with CIU GSCPO and in coordination with PDEA 12, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation on May 21, 2026, along Hicban Street, Barangay Lagao, General Santos City, which resulted in the arrest of one (1) suspect, alias “Mac-Mac,” for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of R.A. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Recovered during the operation were suspected illegal drugs, marked money used in the operation, and other related evidence. The confiscated suspected shabu has an estimated total weight of more or less 20 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value amounting to Php136,000.00.

The marking and inventory of seized evidence were conducted in accordance with existing procedures and in the presence of required witnesses to ensure transparency and proper chain of custody.

The arrested suspect is currently under police custody while appropriate criminal charges are being prepared for filing through inquest proceedings.

This successful operation demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the Philippine National Police in strengthening anti-illegal drug efforts and maintaining peace, order, and public safety in the community.

The full identity of the arrested individual is withheld to uphold due process and in accordance with applicable rules.
