CALL me a Dutert**d — I don’t care. Just like I don’t care about how some self-righteous journalist blocked me just because I considered Digong a friend when Digong was president.

Stella Estremera writes about her views on being labeled a "Dutert**d," the leftist perspective on drug offenders, and the overwhelming number of drug-related cases she's encountered in Davao jails.

Vice President Sara Duterte warned that if former President Rodrigo Duterte returns to the Philippines, he could face the same fate as Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., who was assassinated upon his arrival in the country.

"Yung gusto niyang umuwi sinabi ko din sa kanya sabi ko yung kagustuhan mo na umuwi yan din yung katapusan ng buhay mo, magiging Ninoy Aquino Jr. ka," Sara said in her speech to supporters at Malieveld Park in the Netherlands on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

In response, the former president said he would accept this fate as long as he could return home. Despite Sara’s concerns for her father’s safety, he remained resolute, repeatedly saying, "Ibalik ninyo ako sa Pilipinas" (Bring me back to the Philippines).

To recall, Duterte was taken to The Hague, Netherlands, on March 11, 2025, to face allegations of crimes against humanity. He attended a pre-trial hearing virtually on March 14. The International Criminal Court (ICC) has scheduled a confirmation of charges hearing on September 25, where he will be formally presented with the accusations against him.

More details to follow.

“Kakaladkarin ko yan,” ani ni police Brig. Gen.

If only Torre was calm and collected throughout the hours-long drama at the Villamor Air Base, people on both sides of the fence (pro- and anti-Digong) would have loved him.

Especially kung sinabi niya sa dating presidente na, “Sir, pasensiya na po. Ginagawa ko lang po ang aking tungkulin. Kawawa naman po ako kung hiindi ako sumunod.” Or words to that effect.

Clearly, there was arrogance of power on the part of Torre.

Who was that who said, “ Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely?”

Ay, Torre, matayog ang pinagtatayuan mo! Baka ikaw ay lumagapak sa pagbagsak mo sa torre.

'DONE DEAL'

The Department of Justice (DOJ) addressed questions on whether former President Rodrigo Duterte, currently in the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, can still be brought back to the Philippines.

According to Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, the matter is settled since Duterte is already there.

The DOJ has responded on behalf of the government regarding the writ of habeas corpus petition filed before the Supreme Court by the former president's children, after the Office of the Solicitor General declined to respond. | via PTV

NEWS UPDATE: Malacañang has left the matter of freezing former president Rodrigo Duterte's assets to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), especially if such action is requested by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

According to Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro, a plunder case has already been filed against Duterte and Senator B**g Go, which should have prompted the AMLC to study the possibility of freezing their assets earlier.

She added that justice is more important than the issue of whether or not the government is cooperating with the ICC.

Statement of Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte

What happened to former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte—the manner in which he was taken by the by the ICC thru Interpol and PNP, under the ground command of Major General Nicolas Torre—raises serious concerns about due process and the rule of law. The lack of transparency and apparent disregard for established legal protocols sets a dangerous precedent. If this can be done to a former President of the Republic, what protection is left for ordinary Filipino citizens? Actions like these create fear and uncertainty, shaking the very foundations of justice that the government is supposed to uphold.

Our country is going through difficult and uncertain times. The Constitution—our democracy’s foundation—has been put to the test by the very authorities meant to uphold it. Instead of ensuring the protection of the people, power is seemingly being used to silence and intimidate perceived political enemies. Now, we have verified information that search warrants have been issued targeting the residence of my father, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, along with the homes of my siblings and myself. This blatant act of intrusion into our private spaces raises serious concerns about the intent behind these actions. The PNP PRO-11 has denied this, but after their inconsistent statements regarding PRRD’s situation, the public has every right to question the truth. What is their next move? This only adds to the growing concerns about harassment and intimidation.

I see the overwhelming support of the Filipino people rising in defense of fPRRD. I recognize your courage. I thank you, and I draw strength from your unwavering stand. Now more than ever, I will not be silenced. This is not just about the attack against my family—it is about every Filipino who values justice and fairness. This is not just a question of legal procedures—it is a grave matter of upholding the integrity of our institutions and safeguarding our nation’s sovereignty.

Given all that is happening, it is evident that the current situation bears similarities to Martial Law, even without an official declaration. That is why I urge every Filipino to remain vigilant. Stay well-informed, know your rights, and be ready to defend them. Now is the time to stand firm, protect one another from any abuse of power, and ensure that no Filipino is left vulnerable in these trying times. We are all doing our best to bring PRRD home—to the country he loves and to the people who have always stood by him.

This is not just about fPRRD—it is about love for our country and standing up for every Filipino who struggles against poverty, injustice, and weak leadership. The people’s call for justice and accountability cannot be ignored. Their voices will not be silenced. We will stand together—united, resolute, and unyielding in our pursuit of truth and justice.

Tuloy ang laban.

More Dabawenyos came out of their homes and joined the Parada Dabawenyo and the Solidarity Walk in Davao City on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

According to 88th Araw ng Dabaw Parada Dabawenyo Organizer Harold Quibete, this year's participation was much larger, with over 400 contingents, each with nearly 200 participants.

"We have more than 400 contingents participating in our Parada Dabawenyo," Quibete told reporters.

Meanwhile, a larger crowd dressed in black joined the Solidarity Walk, slowly marching towards Rizal Park on San Pedro Street while carrying placards with images of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The highlight of the event was the speech of Davao City Mayor Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte, where he slammed President Ferdinand ‘B**gbong’ Marcos Jr., saying that the president has lost the love and support of the people, especially those who are now calling out the name of FPRRD.
