MARINA Requires eGov PH App for SRB and SID Applications Starting May 13

The Maritime Industry Authority released Advisory No. 2026-24 stating that starting May 13, 2026, all applications for the Seafarer’s Record Book (SRB) and Seafarer’s Identity Document (SID) will be processed exclusively through the eGov PH App.

The advisory stated that the MARINA Online Appointment System (MARINA-OAS) will only be accessible through the eGov PH platform as part of the government’s digitalization and Single Sign-On program.

The directive covers the issuance, renewal, and replacement of SRB and SID documents. Seafarers were advised to download the eGov PH App through the App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei AppGallery.

MARINA also clarified that applicants with confirmed appointments before May 13, 2026 may still proceed to their assigned processing centers or regional offices based on their existing schedules.
