I use AI video editing tools every day, and they've handed me back a big chunk of my workday.

Transcribing, clearing dead air, taking a 40-minute recording down to an 8-minute rough cut. That used to eat half my day. Now it takes about 15 minutes.

There's one thing it keeps getting wrong, though. Someone says something true, then looks away for half a second. AI trims that as dead air, and that half second is what made the video land.

It also has no idea you're trying to get one specific person to book a call. That part is judgment, and we're still better at it.

Save this before you hand your next video to an AI.

STOP asking for PERMISSION in your DM

"Can I send you a free edit?" sounds polite, but you just handed a busy person homework. So they don't answer. Send the edit instead. New hook, new graphics, cut for their audience and nobody else's.

Then move fast. They replied because they had a free minute, and that minute closes.

The first three seconds of your video are quietly telling people they can leave.

It's the intro nobody asked for, the "in this video I'm going to show you," and the like and follow ask before you've given anything. Every one of them hands over a reason to scroll.

Say the thing they came for. Save your name for later.

WHY you need to BATCH your CONTENT 🎬

Most founders don't quit content because it isn't working. They quit because the setup is exhausting.

Record one video. Edit it. Post it days later. Then set the lights again, get comfortable on camera again, hype yourself up again. Video five is usually where it stops.

Try one afternoon instead. Same shirt, same light, five in a row. The first two will be stiff and that's fine, they're the warmup. The last three sound like how you actually talk.
