Sharing this segment of our guesting last June 25, 2026, during the ISTAC Culinary Olympics at SM Annex, Ecoland, Davao City.
This experience will undoubtedly be one of the many learning curves for our mentees.
It wasn't perfect, but they are getting there. Some performed exceptionally well, and their continuous dedication to workshops clearly showed in their confidence and stage presence.
Others are still finding their footing as newcomers, giving their very best with every step they take.
Nevertheless, each of them delivered a performance they can be proud of. While there is still room for improvement and growth, that is exactly what learning is all about. More importantly, they were able to experience firsthand how Ramp Modeling differs from Pageantry—one of the key lessons we aim to teach at EF Connoisseurs.
Our goal has always been to provide real experiences that help our mentees learn, adapt, and grow. Every runway walked, every mistake made, and every success achieved becomes part of their journey toward becoming better versions of themselves.
And who knows? Maybe on their next ramp, they'll be closer to perfection.
