Human Testing Approval For Elon Musk's Brain Chip Firm

Elon Musk's neurotechnology company Neuralink announced that it has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its first in-human clinical study of brain implants.

It said that recruitment is not yet open for their clinical trial and they will make further announcements soon.

The company previously faced criticism over allegations of animal cruelty, with its studies said to have killed around 1,500 animals, as per a 2022 Reuters report.

He likewise stated that the US business community had nothing but praise for Filipino workers, praising their talent, , and . He added that this has become the main driving force behind bringing investments to the Philippines.

With the help of American businesses, the President said the country would address some economic challenges, particularly in food, energy, and health security, digital connectivity, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic. These efforts, complemented by our game-changing economic reforms, will serve as the foundation for an indomitable partnership, Marcos said.

After his five-day official visit, the President stated that the investments realized would support the Philippines' efforts and further strengthen the foundation of the country's economic . We expect more to materialize.

DAVAO CITY CELEBRATES 86TH ARAW NG DABAW

The City of is celebrating its 86th celebration during this month of March 2023. There are activities which are conducted following the calendar of Events. This will be the guide for participants in various events, contests, and festivities. In a previous report, the AFP-PNP Press Corps revealed their security concerns and have given the public assurances of utmost vigilance and preparedness for a peaceful and orderly conduct of activities in the many places of events during this 86th Araw ng Dabaw celebration. The Calendar of Events are as follows;

The contests are participated in by many groups, the local government units, schools, and groups, institutions, associations or cooperatives coming from different places. It is a celebration of the rich culture and colorful display of the beautiful ethnic origins of the tribal groups not only from but also from other ethnic groups in the Philippines.
Davao city is now flooded with tourists, both local and international, who have nurtured the cultural significance of the annual celebration. The delicious foods and delicacies also added attraction to the number of people coming to Davao City. Local products are also displayed for viewing and patronage for the visitors in the City.

The street festivals displaying the unique dances and colorful costumes of the ethnic groups portray the historical heritage of the people of Davao and other visiting contingents.

The Mutya ng Dabaw will be featured evidently to make us appreciate the reigning beauty in this competition. The new Mr. And Mrs. LGU will be honoring the beautiful and prestigious service of employees who are working in the local government units. It is also timely to honor the Datu Bago Awardee for this year.

More importantly, the people of Davao who possess the spirit of amiable hospitality remains an unforgettable experience that welcomes the visitors to be back in this 86th Araw ng Dabaw celebration.

The local executives have made ample preparation for a peaceful, vibrant and enjoyable days for Dabawenyos, visitors and tourists. The contribution of all those involved in the preparation, presentation and participation are highly appreciated and given credit for their efforts to make this celebration a success. Stories Of Life


A man, who regularly attended meetings with his friends, suddenly without any notice stopped participating.

After a few weeks, one very cold night the leader of that group decided to visit him.

He found the man at home, alone, sitting in front of a fireplace where a bright and cozy fire burned. The man welcomed the leader. There was a great silence.

The two men only watched the dancing flames around the logs that crackled in the fireplace.

After a few minutes the leader, without saying a word, examined the embers that formed and selected one of them, glowing most brightly of all, removing it to the side with a pair of tongs. Then he sat down again.

The host was paying attention to everything, fascinated. Before long, the lone ember flame subsided, until there was only a momentary glow & the fire soon went out.

In a short time what was previously bright light and heat had become nothing more than a black & dead piece of coal.

Very few words had been spoken since the greeting.

Before preparing to leave, the leader with the tongs picked up the useless coal & placed it again in the middle of the fire. Immediately, the ember was rekindled, fueled by the light & heat of the burning coals around him.

When the leader reached the door to leave, the host said: Thank you for your visit and for your beautiful lesson. I'll return to the group soon.

Why is the group extinguished.....?

Very simple:
Because each member that withdraws takes fire & heat from the rest.

It's worth reminding group members that they are a part of the flame.

It's also good to remind us that we are all responsible for keeping each other's flame burning & we must promote the union among us so that the fire is really strong, effective and lasting.
