Birthdays aren't complete without coffee! (Super duper late coffee post coz we got sooo busy these past few weeks 🙈)

This parisian chic restuarant got us 😍 We spent Aash's birthday here coz of the lovely interior. Plus, their food was really, really good esp the salmon! We could still taste how good the salmon was! Lol.

Literally can't fix our attention to just one spot. The whole place totally nailed its shabby chic vibes! 💐

You can take photos literally everywhereee! From its floral wallpapers, vintage telephone, floral cart, backdrops, full length gold framed mirror, vintage chairs and tables, and a whole lot more! They also have a pretty al fresco cafe outside the resto which has a theme of gold and teal.

During our visit, we had their Iced Coffees -- Salted Caramel, White Chocolate Mocha, and we paired it with their French Macarons (of course).

For the food, we had their Beurre Blanc (Panseared Salmon in French Butter), Occhio Di Costola (Ribeye Steak) and Cremoso Pollo Alla Timo (Chicken Fillet in Cream Sauce). Everything was so good!

Would want to go back and try more of their coffees and pastries, as well as the other dishes for there are still so much more on the menu! ... but would definitely be back for their salmon, for sureee! 🤍

On top of our fave cafes not only because of their coffee, but also because of their adorable furbabies! 🐾

We were really psyched to meet Regina George, Coffee, Cheesecake and others. Oreo made new friends here! 💖🥺 When we found out that we can bring Oreo here, we did not waste time and immediately went that same afternoon 💘

What we love about this cafe is that they are such dog lovers that they allow their furbabies to play with ours, and they also let their furbabies play dress up! Such cuties! 💖 They have their own customized Sanjors apron which is just so cute (Oreo's jelly 😅).

All of their doggos are so loveable, cuddly and friendly! Even Oreo (who is anti-social to other furbabies, tbh) was so happy to be there! She kept smiling the whole time 🤗

During our visit, we had their Iced White Mocha (Moon River), Iced Butterscotch Latte (San Francisco St.), Plantbased Charcoal Espresso (Ash), and we paired it with their Chicken Carbonara Pasta, Ham & Cheese Sandwich & Cheese Melt Sandwich.

We had our late brunch here and everything was so yum! Their hearty meals go really well with their coffee - perf for filling up on such a slow afternoon.

We were actually looking forward to try their cakes coz we heard such good reviews about it, but their cakes were not available during our visit 😔 (Our sign to go back to Sanjors and try their cakes with our coffee! 😁)

They have such classy aesthetic here. They have this mirror tray with a cutesy handwritten note which makes your flatflay for the food and coffee so so niceee! They also have a pretty space for photo ops which we just looove! The furbabies loved getting their photos here as well 🤍

We had such a fun experience here and we can't wait to go back. Our baby brother, Osh, wanted to go here as well because we all love furbabies. Will definitely try their cakes next time! 💖

Highlight of this cafe: Their Caramel Pecan Cheesecake and the wooden bench in their beautiful outside patio! 🤎

An ideal spot to spend mundane afternoons & enjoy the golden hour 💛 Also, the photo where Osh got his drawing inspiration for the page was taken in this cafe 😊

Once you walk through their gate, your attention will immediately be captured by the exterior of the cafe because it looks like a cutesy rustic pastel green cottage. Upon entering, the interior of the cafe which are a combination of blues and greens are so pleasing to the eye! 💙💚

Going back to their outdoor patio, it's just so relaxing and spacious! The fairylights hanging from the trees, and its wooden picnic tables and chairs are a good addition to its rustic aesthetic.

When we went to Prelaya, it was the perfect time for picture taking coz it was the golden hour. The streaks of light and the shadows were just everything! Everywhere you look looks calming and serene because of the plants.

During our visit, we had their Spanish Latte, White Mocha, Espresso Tonic, and we paired it with their Caramel Pecan Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake. Their coffee goes really well with their cheesecakes and we really enjoyed everything, but we loved their Caramel Pecan Cheesecake extra much!

For those who prefer to stay indoors, they have a limited indoor sitting wherein you could watch their friendly baristas craft your drinks from their counter.

Sitting outside has its perks as well, for you would surely enjoy your coffees and cheesecakes while admiring just how the blues and greens of their store front compliments how clean and green the overall scenery is 🍃

DISCLAIMER: LOOOOONG POST AND A WHOLE LOTTA PHOTOS AHEAD! 🤭

This retro cafe is definitely for old souls! (even if you're not an old soul like Aash, you would still have a grand time istg)

Once you step inside Filling Cafe and Bar, it would literally feel like you've time travelled back to the the 50's! Everything is so well thought of! From their interior, to the uniform of their servers, everything really screams RETRO! You would definitely eye authentic vintage items. Can't even go to one corner without saying WOW!

Upon entering the main entrance on their 1st floor, you'll immediately be greeted by this vintage gasoline station, as well as this vintage mini cooper with a british flag printed on the car's exterior. Which is, again ... so cool! There were so many mini vintage cars and old plate numbers from different places! We especially loved the one from California, it just reminds us of so many RVs in movies and TV shows with the California plate number.

Also, can we talk about this red phonebooth which we super love? (1D flashback senti 😭). Plus, this old Coca-Cola vending machine is so amazing coz it still has the old designs of coke bottles.

Aaand just when you thought the fun is over, there's A WHOLE LOT MORE on their 2nd floor. It's just like what we see in the movies! A retro diner with its iconic checkered tiles, red couches, and blue/red lights to set the overall vibe of the cafe. Everything goes really well together. Also, props to their playlist coz it played old songs which fits their retro theme as well.

Wherever you look (up, down, sideways), everything is covered with retro decors! The neon lights really added an even more retro touch. Plus, there's this real vintage car right in the middle of the diner. You can even dine inside the car as long as you avail their consumable package, the car has a real table inside so you would still be comfy while eating, but it's almost always booked. Still cool to just take a pic of the car tho -- it looks like the car in the end scene of Grease, wherein the car flew Danny and Sandy away.

So many fun statues of iconic characters here! But of course, they can't forget these iconic ppl from the past. They have decors and statues of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and James Dean! They have decors of The Beatles, and a whole lot more! There's this whole corner which serves as a tribute to Marilyn Monroe. It was also very creative of Filling to use vinyls to decorate their walls and ceilings. There were also old car parts and motorcycles all over the place.

You could literally spend hours on end just taking pictures in Filling coz every corner is very instagrammable!

Also, we looove their servers' uniforms! They really dressed up for the part. They look like ppl from a diner in the 50's! The girls wore classic highcut chucks, puff sleeved polo, mini skirts, bloomers and cutie aprons. Just looking at them reminds us of Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe from Riverdale -- we can see Veronica working here! 💛

During our visit, we had their Iced Cappuccino and Iced Cafe Mocha. Of course, we can't leave without trying their coffeeee! Their iced coffees came in a huge glass! Also, it was yummm and was super sulit for its price. If you love whipped cream, then you should prolly order their Iced Cafe Mocha!

For the food, we had their Classic Pancakes, Grilled Cheese with Mushrooms, and The Alcatraz Hotdog Sandwich to pair with our coffee.

We obviously underestimated their serving size. When they said it was BIG, they really meant it was HUGE! 🤣 Like, one order is good for probably 3 ppl, istg. Their food was delicious and so fulfilling. We prolly already mentioned that their serving was huge, but we would just like to say it again 🤣 We even had our leftovers to-go coz we just couldn't finish everything that we ordered!

It's Eesh's 2nd time here, and Aash's 1st time, bur we would looove to go back with our baby brother, Osh, for he's also an old soul (just like Eesh) 🖤

Our Kadayawan Celebration wouldn't be complete without visiting DavCon! aaand what better way to celebrate it than to have a cup of good coffee! ☕️

Every August, we look forward to all of the food festivals here in Davao City! Lucky us, coz this year, Kuan Coffee of Tagum City is here to celebrate Kadayawan with us.

We have heard about Kuan Coffee for quite some time now, and we have been wanting to go their cafe coz we heard a lot of good reviews about their coffee and their cafe alike.

When we heard that Kuan Coffee will be having a pop-up in 3 different bazaars here in Davao City for Kadayawan, we were so excited to try it!

When we arrived at DavCon at around 5PM and went to their booth to order, we knew that they are popular here in Davao as well for they ran out of ice! Luckily, the staff were so friendly and they informed us that they will be having the ice again in about 5 -10 mins. We also just ordered in advance while waiting for the ice. They have a fast service tho, so kudos to them! 🤎

We tried their After 8, Cinnamon Dulce, Caramel Macchiato, Mochaccino and Strawberry Latte. Everything was yummm and sulit!

Plus, the quality of their drink is so good coz they don't serve your usual cup of coffee. In Kuan Coffee, different coffee flavors really have its own twist and you could really distinguish one flavor from the other -- which we sooo love.

Also ordered food from other booths to pair with our coffee, coz our DavCon Bazaar trips wouldn't be complete without an ultimate pig out sesh 🐷

Really enjoyed Kuan Coffee. Hope they will come back to Davao City to join more food festivals soon!

P.S. Would still definitely love to go to their own cafe in Tagum City, btw 🤍

We're definitely not morning people but for cafes, we'd gladly make an exception!

Such a good way to start the day with these pretty pastries! Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a long table full of pretty pastries! It's impossible not to drool from it. They have croissants, cinnamon rolls, pies, cronuts, donuts, cookies, breads, and sooo much more 😍 It's like our pinterest bakery board came to life.

We dined outdoors coz the seat that we were eyeing was outdoors, and you know how we're such a sucker for good lighting.

During our visit, we had their Vietnamese Latte, Chantilly Iced Coffee, and we paired it with their Salted Egg Croissant, Raspberry Matcha Bundt Cake, and Tiramisu Cronut.

Tbh, their pastries are SO GOOD like REALLY, REALLY GOOD that we just had to bring home a mystery bread box for Mom to try! Everyone at home loved it! Lucky enough, a week after we got home, Aash's bestfriend went to MNL, so we asked to do a pasabuy for another mystery bread box 😂 It's that good that we just can't get enough.

Their coffees are not so much to our liking tho, we were expecting it to be sweet like the ones in the review, but we couldn't really taste anything 🤷🏻‍♀️

We think this is also because we weren't given straws at that time coz they said they ran out of straws (weird thing is, the girl next to us was given a straw when she asked for one, and this was already after we asked for straws).

We're quite sad with their service, the staff wasn't friendly and they kinda make you feel like you aren't welcome.

Would still looove to try their other pastries and food tho, but prolly having it to-go next time or maybe dine at other branches.

We also have to try the cinnamon roll coz it just looked extra good! And their Pavlova! Eesh was literally talking non-stop about the Pavlova on our way here, but it wasn't available during our visit. So, we'd have to go back for that one, too! 😌

#1 fave out of all the coffees we tried in Manila! 🙈🤍

You prolly saw their famous gray wall with the tagline "because coffee" in the IG feeds of your fave influencers, and lemme tell you that this cafe is not only instagrammable, but their coffee reallyyy stands out!

This cafe has a minimalist but elegant feels with their interior centered around the hues of gray, black, and white. Upon entering, our attention got caught by this big tree in the middle that reaches up to the ceiling. The tree was enclosed by a glass, and it also served as a table with four sides. (The tree kinda reminds us of a magical tree in harry potter, tbh) 🤎

We only found out recently that harlan and holden cafe is really its name and "because coffee" is just their main tagline 😅

Also, they are the first cashless coffee shop in the Philippines! You can order your coffee in advance through their app which is perfect for on-the-go ppl. You can have their coffees in these cute bottles so you could store them for a while or bring as a pasalubong!

They really are in another level here! You order your coffee through their iPads. You get to choose your ice level, how strong you want your coffee to be, choose the sweetness level and etc all through their iPads, then you can wait and watch their baristas craft your coffee. What's unique though is that they have this tap system!

During our visit, we had their bestsellers, Sea Salt Latte and Butterscotch Latte. We immediately fell in looove at first sip! Both coffees are just the yummiest! 🤎

They have the beeest Sea Salt Latte eveeer = not too sweet, creamy, foamy, not lumpy, just an amaaazing blend of coffee! Never had this kind of Sea Salt Latte anywhere else. The Butterscotch Latte was also very, very good! What makes it extra is the crunchy caramel cookie crumbs surrounding the top of the cup, so you could have some of it whichever side you sip your coffee on. Yummm!

Since we were walking around the whole day, we decided to chill in their cafe for a while.The cafe was so wide with a lot of seats and corners to chill in.

We also love how bright their lighting is that you can stay awake and productive while working! When we were there, there were groups of ppl bringing their laptops and such.

Our favorite part of the interior is their mirrors with the saying "Ain't Got Time For That." with different questions such as "Fake Friends?" "Fake Truths?" "Regrets?" and sooo much more. You will totally leave the cafe feeling good about yourself! Plus, their glass tables add accent to their clean and sleek looking aesthetic.

P.S. Will never stop talking about how the first sip of their coffee is literally something else! 💖

We finally tried the iconic donuts we usually see in movies & cartoons! Aaand we finally understood why it's so famous ❤️

Thank God for donuts as big as our faces. The second best thing about these premium donuts (next to it's taste, of course) is just how biiig it is that we cannot finish it in one sitting.

We went to the shop at their opening hours, but there was immediately a queue when we arrived. They're that famous!

During our visit, we had their Randy's Dandy, Happy Toffee, and we paired it with their world famous donuts -- Pink Raised with Sprinkles and Coffee Raised.

When we think of Randy's Donuts, the scene in Iron Man 2 where RDJ is chilling in the middle of the massive donut pops into our minds! So we definitely had to try the donut Iron Man was having -- Coffee Raised coz why would he fly out there if it ain't yummy, right? 🙈

It is also no doubt that this pink sprinkled donut will be a Simpsons signature forever. Of course we cant leave without trying Pink Raised with Sprinkles coz why else would it be a Simpson-favorite if it's not good, right? We also heard that the exact shop you see in The Simpsons is also inspired by Randy's Donuts!

True enough, both donuts are just looove! We wanted to order more and try out other flavors but it's just the two of us 🥲

It's just what a donut should be! What we also really love about the donuts is that the sweetness is just balanced that you won't even feel guilty while eating. They also have different tiers for their donuts so if you opt to have the classic size, you can still do so!

Short story time: We didn't had good coffee the night before going to Randy's so when we finally sipped on our coffee that morning, we were so happy to know that Randy's also make good coffees! Finally some gooood coffee! Their coffee was also big!

To get the aesthetic picture, we placed the donut at the top of the coffee lid, with the straw in the middle of the donut hole for support (Some stuff pinterest made us do 😂).

There are indoor and outdoor sitting, but of course we sat outside coz we can't leave without taking a pic with their world famous big donut logo!

We noticed that while there are still long queues, people were just going in and out of the shop and not staying to eat their donuts, so we were lucky enough that we got to chill and take good photos while enjoying our donuts and coffee. Truly the perfect pair.

Brunch is ALWAYS a good idea! 💖

If this door is familiar to you, you prolly saw it on the IG posts and reels of our beloved YouTubers when they had a brunch date here. Ashley Garcia, Bianca Gan, Aika Agustin, Ciara Gan, Chelsea Valencia and their cutie posts brought us here! 🤭

We had brunch at around 4PM on that day and the lighting was still so good! Lucky us coz prolly 10 mins after we took our photos at the green door, it immediately went gloomy and then it rained! 😅

If you've been reading our posts for quite a while now, you already know how we usually have a spot in mind before going to a certain place, and good lighting is a must ... so al-fresco dining as always! 🤍

Their al-fresco tables and chairs has a color palette of oranges, greens and browns which are so pleasing to the eye! The combination is just beautiful especially with the plants.

Once you step inside, you'll immediately be greeted by their wide counter full of bread & pastries! Its hard not to drool over these! The interior still has the same pretty color palette and it has a sophisticated touch to it. Comfyyy!

They offer a wide array of food choices in the menu so it's impossible for you not to pick a dish you'd like for any time of the day, really living up to the name of their cafe 💚

During our visit, we had their Vittoria Coffees -- Flat White and Cappuccino. We both had hot coffee this time as it was raining and we just felt like it 😌

Their coffees are served with a very cute star shaped cinnamon-flavored sugar cookie! They also served it with a small container of muscovado sugar so you could adjust the sweetness to your liking. We loved how the muscovado sugar gave our coffee a different kick. Both drinks are yummm and pretty!

We ordered their Crispy Brioche French Toast which had mixed berries and a generous amount of cream as well to pair with our coffee, and it goes reallyyy well together.

For the food, we had their DBL Smoked Handkerchief Pasta which was very creamy. The pasta was home-made and we had nothing like it before. We also had their Green Shakshuka which we also loved mainly because of how they put A LOT of green bell peppers in it!

Everything was so tasty and we loved it! They hit all the right spots with their yummy dishes which has generous servings, btw. So yay!

But we just gotta say ... the highlight of this brunch date was the Crispy Brioche French Toast, istg we can still remember how it tastes like! 💖

When this cafe first opened, it had such long queues and our curiousity got the best of us so we just had to try the hype! 🙈

What we love here is that we can spend hours just checking out a bunch of japanese minimalist stuff -- from their famous stationaries to their makeup line to their housewares and their aesthetic clothes! We looove the pinterest net tote bag the best, btw.

Their cafe is clean & simple (zen minimalist) as what the Muji brand stands for.

There were limited sitting but there's a sign which says that a customer must only stay for a maximum of 1hour in order to accommodate other customers, so yay!

The whole time we were there, we were standing for the most part, but was lucky enough to get a table eventually.

During our visit, we had their Ichigo Cafe Mocha and Cafe Latte. The Ichigo Cafe Mocha was okay though, but we felt like we ordered the wrong set of drinks 🙈

Even though we alwaaays do our research before going to a certain cafe, we have not done so for this one. We didn't know what drinks the people were raving about, and we just followed the best sellers in the menu. (We found out later on that Cafe Mocha and Matcha Latter were the crowd-favorites! 🥺)

The Cafe Latte was so-so for our taste, coz we just really prefer sweet coffees. The Ichigo Cafe Mocha on the other hand was good, you can def taste the strawberry flavor which was a plus!

However, we were still bummed that we didn't get to try their Matcha Latte coz Matcha Latte and Cafe Mocha were literally what we had in mind at first. Served as a lesson that we should really stick to our first instinct (or orders for this matter 😂). Considering the fact that it's a Japanese brand, so ofc Matcha is a must!

We had a good experience tho coz even if there were a lot of people, their ambience was still sooo chill. Hoping we could try the Matcha Latte and their pastries next time!
