While we are being distracted by minor issues, Dinapigue, Isabela, is still in the process of destruction due to one of the largest mining projects.

This covers 2,392 hectares. (Imagine living in a 100 sqm house; 239,200 houses can fit into that area.)

While a person was arrested for cutting down trees on his own land to feed his family, why is such devastating destruction being protected?

The Sierra Madre is losing 9,000 hectares every year, the same mountain that protects everyone in Luzon against storms and typhoons. If this continues, we will lose our 540-km mountain in 2 to 3 decades. Isn't this alarming? So the question is...

Can we still trust the DENR?
Are we still protected by the same agency?
Is maintaining order, protecting citizens, and promoting the general welfare of society still the main concern of the government?
If yes, then why? 😶😶😶 😶😶😶
