Following Jesus is not easy.

1. It requires denying yourself
📖 Luke 9:23 “Deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Me.”

2. The path is narrow and hard
📖 Matthew 7:14 “The way is hard that leads to life.”

3. You will face opposition
📖 2 Timothy 3:12 “All who desire to live godly… will be persecuted.”

4. Your old life must die
📖 Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ.”

5. It demands obedience, not just belief
📖 James 1:22 “Be doers of the word, not hearers only.”

6. You must let go of everything else
📖 Luke 14:33 “Renounce all that you have.”

7. You must love Him above all else.
📖 Luke 14:26-27 "You cannot be my disciple, unless you love me more than you love your father and mother, your wife and children, and your brothers and sisters. You cannot follow me unless you love me more than you love your own life.

Following Jesus will cost us our comfort, our pride, our sins, our jobs, our dreams, our plans, and sometimes even people. But here’s the truth, it may cost us everything, but it leads to eternal life.

This post is not meant to condemn people but to remind everyone of us na ang Panginoon ay hindi talaga nalulugod kapag tayo ay sumasayaw ng mahalay na sayaw at nagsusuot ng mahalay sa kasuotan..

He wants us to live holy..

But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

Pero hindi din ibig sabihin na nakadamit ng modest ay holy na.. Dahil ang mga pariseo they look holy outside but their hearts were filled with hypocrisy and pride..

True holiness is inside out.

✝️ 1 Timoteo 2:9-10
Ang mga babae naman ay dapat maging mahinhin, maayos at maingat sa pananamit at ayos ng buhok. Hindi sila dapat maging magarbo sa pananamit at maluho sa mga mamahaling alahas na ginto o perlas.

Hindi lang po ang babae ang dapat magsuot ng modest pati po mga lalaki..

Iyan po ang katotohanan mga kapatid, this is a wake up call for every person who believes in Jesus, to repent and turn away from sin.

Pero kahit anong gawin natin, mangyayari at mangyayari talaga na may mga tao na hindi na makikinig sa wastong aral.. 💔😥 maghahanap sila ng tagapag turo na yung gusto nila ang sasabihin sa kanila at hindi ang katotohanan na sinasabi ng Biblya.

3. Sapagkat darating ang panahong hindi na sila makikinig sa wastong katuruan; sa halip, susundin nila ang kanilang hilig. Maghahanap sila ng mga tagapagturo na walang ituturo kundi ang ibig lamang nilang marinig.
