Globe Expands Customer-First Innovations, Delivering Seamless Everyday Experiences

Globe unveiled a new suite of customer-first innovations at The Blueprint by Globe, reinforcing its “Built Around You” commitment. The showcase highlighted how Globe continues to simplify access, remove friction, and transform daily routines into intuitive, empowering experiences.

The event introduced reimagined touchpoints across onboarding, SIM care, digital shopping, and customer support underscoring how Globe is adapting to the evolving needs of Filipinos.

GlobeOne: A Faster, Smarter Digital Companion

At the heart of Globe’s digital ecosystem, the GlobeOne app continues to evolve to give customers a seamless and more inclusive experience. Its latest update, shaped by feedback from users, brings greater speed, simplicity and accessibility.

Connecting is now quicker with a more streamlined onboarding, while a refreshed catalog offers a cleaner, more intuitive way to browse, compare, and purchase promos. The app also runs faster and smoother, even on entry-level devices, and now comes with a smaller file size making GlobeOne accessible to even more Filipinos. These improvements address everyday frustrations while boosting inclusivity.

Guest Mode: Access Globe Without Logging In

Globe also introduced Guest Mode, a new feature that allows anyone, even non-Globe users to explore essential services without creating an account. Through this seamless experience, users can register SIMs, buy load, subscribe to promos, and even purchase an eSIM without stepping into a store.

Guest Mode lowers barriers to entry by giving people a convenient way to try Globe services firsthand. Designed especially to encourage digital-first adoption among Prepaid and TM customers, this provides a welcoming pathway into Globe’s growing digital ecosystem.

SIM Care Reinvented: Replace, Upgrade, and Switch In-App

Globe has redefined SIM services by bringing them directly into GlobeOne, eliminating queues, paperwork, and delays. Customers can now replace a damaged SIM with delivery, flexible payment options, and instant activation. They can also upgrade to 5G anytime with secure validation and delivery tracking, or switch to an eSIM instantly for a more eco-friendly option. With just a few taps, Globe customers gain greater control and convenience over their connectivity.

Beyond Connectivity: Everyday Empowerment

Globe is also expanding the GlobeOne app features to be more purpose-driven. GoGive is GlobeOne’s newest feature that allows customers to support causes that they care about by simply using their mobile data.

Inclusive Innovation, Built Around You

At its core, The Blueprint reflects Globe’s commitment to inclusive innovation, ensuring progress benefits all Filipinos.

“Every solution is designed with the customer in mind. We’re not building features for the sake of it, we’re removing friction from the everyday,” said Coco Domingo, Globe VP of Product Experience.

Because staying connected is not just about convenience, it’s about resilience, inclusion, and empowerment. With Globe, every tap brings Filipinos closer to the digital life they aspire to.

Two Former Rebels of 89IB Receive Safe Conduct Passes in Davao Ceremony

Davao City, Philippines — September 12, 2025. The National Amnesty Commission (NAC) and the Local Amnesty Board – Davao held an Oath-Taking Ceremony and Ceremonial Awarding of Safe Conduct Passes at Bagani Hall, Camp Sgt. Quintin M. Merecido, Headquarters of PNP PRO XI, Buhangin, Davao City. The ceremony was highlighted by the oath-taking of the Local Amnesty Board members, administered by NAC Chairperson Atty. Leah C. Tanodra-Armamento.

A key part of the event was the awarding of Safe Conduct Passes to qualified amnesty applicants from the Davao Region, including two Former Rebels (FRs) who voluntarily returned to the folds of the law through the support of the 89th Infantry “Makatao” Battalion. Lieutenant Colonel Antonio G. Bulao I, Battalion Commander of 89IB, personally attended the activity to express the Army’s full support to the returnees. The Safe Conduct Pass serves as an official document guaranteeing the protection of amnesty applicants from arrest, detention, or harassment while their applications are being processed, allowing them to safely and peacefully reintegrate into society.

The activity highlighted the government’s commitment to peace, reconciliation, and reintegration. With the unified efforts of the NAC, security forces, local government units, and civil society partners, the distribution of Safe Conduct Passes ensures that former rebels are given security, legal assurance, and opportunities to start anew as active partners in community development and lasting peace.

LOOK | DOLE DSFO Provides Livelihood Assistance to Victims of NPA Killings

BANSALAN, DAVAO DEL SUR — On September 13, 2025, the Rano Massacre Direct Survivor Workers Association (RAMADISUWOAS) has received ₱500,000.00 in livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) XI. The funds were presented to the association's leader, Floramae Caminade, at the Salinta B. Monon Sports, Cultural and Business Center in Poblacion Dos, Bansalan, Davao del Sur.

The Rano Massacre Direct Survivor Workers Association (RAMADISUWOAS) is an organization consists of the family members of the thirty-nine (39) individuals who were killed by NPA guerillas on June 25, 1989, at the Bagobo-Tagabawa Village in Sitio Rano, located in Barangay Binaton, Digos City, Davao del Sur. With the support of the 39th Infantry Battalion, the group was officially established on December 03, 2021.

Awarded through the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), this assistance aims to provide sustainable opportunities for the survivors to rebuild their lives. By transforming their collective trauma into a source of unity, the funds will be used to establish a sustainable egg production facility. This project is expected to increase the income and resilience of the Bagobo-Tagabawa community, while also promoting food security and self-reliance.

The program's successful implementation was spearheaded by Mr. Leo Ariel A. Pepino, Provincial Director of the DOLE Davao del Sur Field Office. This partnership highlights the shared mission of government agencies under the NTF-ELCAC to assist communities and individuals victimized by communist terrorist groups (CTGs). As a cornerstone of the government's efforts for peace and development, this initiative demonstrates a commitment to helping survivors rebuild their lives and communities.

Globe GFiber Prepaid is PH fiber leader for mass market

Globe’s GFiber Prepaid (GFP) recorded a 37% growth in the second quarter of 2025, making it the most widely adopted prepaid fiber service in the Philippines and further solidifying Globe’s leadership in mass-market fiber.

The service continues to gain traction for its affordability, ease of access, and reloadable setup. With no lock-in contracts and fast application, GFiber Prepaid provides a reliable internet option for households across the country.. Its digital integration through the GlobeOne app makes account management and reloading even simpler.

Customers are not only signing up, they’re staying. Reload rates hit 68%, the highest in its segment, while average daily top-ups grew more than 4.5 times compared to the 2024 average. These numbers point to the rising demand for flexible and affordable prepaid fiber services among Filipinos.

Abby Cardino, VP for Broadband Brand Management at Globe, said the company is committed to enhancing accessibility for Filipino households nationwide. “GFiber Prepaid exemplifies the impact of truly listening to our customers. Our approach has always been about simplicity, flexibility, and putting control in their hands. The growth we’re seeing is only the beginning,” she said.

To sustain this momentum, Globe is expanding GFiber Prepaid’s presence in everyday channels like sari-sari stores where mobile top-ups are already common. Localized barangay offers are also being introduced to make the service more responsive to the specific needs of each community.

GFiber Prepaid’s growth helped push Globe’s total fixed-wired broadband base to 1.5 million users, up from 1.2 million in the same period last year. Notably, fiber services now account for over 90% of Globe's total broadband revenues, underscoring the company's commitment to meeting the evolving connectivity needs of Filipinos..

“With localized barangay offers and easy top-up options, GFiber Prepaid is built around the realities of everyday life, whether for online learning, remote work, or staying close to family and friends. By listening to what customers truly need, it has become a trusted partner for households across the country, helping families thrive in today’s digital world,” Cardino said.

GFiber Prepaid is shaping the next chapter of connectivity in the Philippines. And it’s doing so by always putting customers first on the list.
