IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS - DAY 1
In this post, I will address three key points:
✅ Why I went MIA (missing in action)
✅ My availability for readings
✅ How to reach me (for concerns and questions)
(2 min read)
-----------
I have been off the radar for half a year. In the 6 months that I've been away, I stopped doing readings and redirected my focus on the three most important things in my life - work, family, and my mental health.
-----------
👉 STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH 😔
Let me start off by saying that I enjoy reading for people. Even though I'm an introvert, I enjoy casual conversations and meeting new faces.
What I love most is when I hear back from clients who tell me how things have improved since the last time we spoke. This makes me happy, not because it makes me feel important or special, but because I managed to make a positive difference in another person's life.
However, I think it's about time I acknowledged that I suffer from mental health problems.
Whenever I'm depressed, I do not feel like myself at all. The "Ada" who likes to talk suddenly does not feel like talking anymore. I usually have to put on a mask to make people think: "Hey, I'm okay. Don't worry about me" even though I'm not.
These past few years, I have learned that forcing myself to interact with people does not help with my depression. I realized that finding time to be alone, is what helps me most.
This was one of the reasons why I went MIA.
-----------
👉 CHOOSING WORK AND FAMILY 👩👩👧👧
As some of you may know, I do not consider Tarot reading as a major source of income. This is why I charge a fair price compared to most Philippine Tarot readers.
People have often suggested that I charge higher so I can do readings full-time, but this isn't what I want. I prefer to separate work from what I do as a Tarot reader.
In the recent months, I had to re-evaluate my priorities and chose to juggle work, my family, and responsibilities at home.
I understand that there are no excuses for leaving you folks hanging. And I am truly sorry for being away and not getting back to your messages. I can only hope that you would understand.
-----------
👉 WILL YOU BE DOING READINGS AGAIN? 🔮
Yes. But I still don't know when.
I am trying to figure out HOW I can resume readings without compromising my priorities OR the quality of my services.
🙋♀️ That said, I have some AWESOME NEWS for Davao. I will be available for in-person readings for a LIMITED TIME ⏰
So stay tuned for Day 2 Announcements!
