Throwing it back to the beautiful Chinese New Year installations of February 2026. ๐Ÿฎ While some displays were minimal, these malls truly went above and beyond to bring the festive spirit to life. ๐Ÿงง

A huge appreciation post for the effort and artistry behind these decorations. โœจ

Things you will only find in Bonifacio Hight Street, BGC, Taguig City.

The Portal

Asia's first global Portal sculpture is located on 5th Avenue at Bonifacio High Street in BGC (right outside Central Square Mall). It features a 24/7 unfiltered livestream that lets you wave and interact in real-time with people standing in front of identical portals in cities like Dublin, Philadelphia, and Vilnius.

The screen rotates the live feed every few minutes to connect with different international cities. There is no audio to encourage non-verbal communication like waving, dancing, or holding up signs. You can potentially connect with people in Lithuania, Poland, Ireland, the US, and the UK.

3D Billboard

The Philippines' first naked-eye 3D LED Billboard is located at One Bonifacio High Street along 5th Avenue in BGC. Spanning 400 square meters, this massive L-shaped screen uses anamorphic illusion technology to make hyper-realistic digital ads look like they are breaking out of the screen without the need for 3D glasses.

Due to its success, a second 3D screen was added right across the street at the Central Square building, turning this intersection into a major visual spectacle.

Sunsets and Sunshines at Greenfield District

This is why I love living in Greenfield District. It may not be as developed as Makati CBD or Bonifacio Global City or even Ortigas Center, however, it doesn't have the corporate vibes of the said business districts as well. It has the perfect balance of greenery, commercial spaces, sports facilities, and arts. It is made for living and not for working. When you walk around the district, you will see runners, food lovers, cafe goers, paddle players, and artists. In contrast with the corporate workers of other districts, people in Greenfield District actually live. Because in Greenfield District, there is more to life than work.

What's New?

Greenfield Development Corporation (GDC) is set to build a new food park on the existing Food Truck Fest located in Mayflower parking lot adjacent to Greenfield Tower and Rockwell Business Center Sheridan. The Greenfield Diagonal Park is a 55,640 square meter masterplan that features a mixed-use public space by merging landscape and commercial sites.

Phase 1 of the 1-kilometer park will feature a 20-meter wide pedestrian walkway through Mayflower park that will connect Twin oaks Place, Zitan Condominium, Williams Street and Reliance Street.

The groundbreaking took place on 12 March 2026. The ongoing construction of a Steel Parking Building is a direct result of this project as the parking spaces will now be transferred to the steel parking building once the Diagonal Park is completed.

Are you looking forward for this development?
