As an international student, itā€™s always amazing how a place can start feeling like home even when you came there as a stranger. And I am so blessed to have seen 5 out of 8 states and territories during my stay.

Australia gave me more than memories. It gave me growth, friendships, independence, and a version of myself I never knew existed.

I didnā€™t plan to feel nostalgic in India šŸ‡®šŸ‡³

But walking through Fontainhas, Goaā€™s Latin Quarter in Panaji, Colonial houses pressed close to narrow streets kind of reminded me of walking through Intramurosā€™ little Vigan.

Goa had the Portuguese. We had the Spanish. Different colonizers, but at the same time, both have almost the same architecture, and the same love for Christmas and letting it linger longer.
