No words. Just a hug…

Sometimes, in the middle of the night, he’d say,
“Naremember nako si Mama.”
Other times, he’d catch my swollen eyes and ask,
“Naremember nimo si Daddy?”
And we’d just… hug. Because there are no words. Wala gyud.

It’s hard to comfort someone when you both carry the same kind of ache, the kind that doesn’t go away…
