Champorado ✨🤤

Mix it with sugar/milk or milo and it makes it’s magic. A Filipino comfort food. But I have a different kind of memory/story of champorado.

Back when we were struggling literally NO centavo at all, and had to crawl under the cabinets to see if there’s a chance to get even a peso to buy some food kay walang wala jud, we usually eat champorado to sustain us. There was even a time na hapit na mapan-us kay pati sa pagluto ika usahon nalang jd kay way ikapalit kahoy pangluto, nikaon ko. YES! Nagbula nag sugod na champorado para lang masudlan ang tiyan gikaon nako! So ni agi ko ana nga kapit-os ug nag ampo lang jd ko sa Ginoo na ma lagpasan to tanan. Daghan ka agi na walay nakabalo, so sa mga tao na nag judge sa akoa, mga storya sa likod, mga curses ug uban pang tawag ninyo sa akoa. Padayon lang mo, e ampo tamo na dli ninyo ma agian akong na agian 🙂 Wala mo kabalo sa kapait sa tawo para manulti mo ug di mao. May Godbless you po 💕
