A drummer? aiming to be a drum technician as a career? Or simply wanted to learn how to maintain your own instrument? Playing live sometimes can be bothersome, as venues, bars does not have the same sets of drums to your liking.

Being able to learn your set up your own is the best thing you can invest in.

Drum tuning? Proper placement of drum mics? Drum ergonomics? Hardware, options based on your playing style. All of these will be discussed by Mr.Junax Escudo - our Drum Tech masterclass speaker. With his experience as a technician for several international and local artist for many years being able to invite him back to Davao is already an honor, plus for him to teach his expertise to our participants is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Usually his masterclass sessions are done in Luzon only with some known artists. But this time, he will be sharing his knowledge to us.

If you are a sound engineer, venue/ church sound man or an enthusiast trying learn the broad spectrum of those complicated sonic frequencies on how let your instrument or vocals cut through the mix in a live setting. Where to place those in a mountain like mix and aural sound wall.

In a live set up. The people, the venue itself, the acoustics all affects how the sound delivers to the crowd. Learning FoH mixing will teach you how to solve those ear piercing noises, over boomy basses, microphone feedbacks, insufficient sound being heard by the crowd and umbalanced mix of instruments and vocals.

Mr.Lemuel Morata from Auricular Studios will help you learn as his masterclass will also be conducted in one segment of the Rimshot Drumsticks drum tech clinic.

Our upcoming event will not only cover drum related stuffs.

In-Ear-Monitoring will also be discussed. Which is of vital importance if you are a performing artist, church musician or a solo performer. In the clinic you will learn how in-ears work and how to set it up.

Playing in a live gig or in church? In-ear monitoring is the way to go, to isolate instruments and vocals. It can also be set up to have verbal and click cues during the performance. To maintain time, to tell the next part of the song, communicate with the band in isolation or self-monitoring without the external noises.

Mr.Lemuel Morata from Auricular Studios will be leading the segment for the topic. With his expertise and experience he will showcase all the specifics on the subject along with some question and answer with the latest trends in technology about the system.
