Before you begin your work or start your day today, please take a moment to reflect on the following. Each morning, God invites you to ponder these three places:
(a) Hospital – This place reminds you that health is more valuable than wealth.
(b) Jail – This place reminds you how precious it is to have freedom.
(c) Cemetery – This place reminds you that life in this world is temporary, and that you should live fully and with purpose.
Thus, you are reminded today to do the following.
(a) Forgive and ask for forgiveness. Eliminate pride, it is a root cause of many of humanity’s troubles and all forms of crimes and offenses against our neighbors.
(b) Stay away from anger and the desire for retaliation. These emotions raise your heart rate and blood pressure, increasing toxicity in your body and making you more vulnerable to various illnesses, including but not limited to cancer, etc.
(c) Exercise regularly or engage in your favorite sports, and maintain healthy relationships with others. Living in good physical and mental health is essential. The discomfort caused by physical or emotional pain can take away your ability to live life to the fullest.
(d) Share your blessings. Be a channel through which blessings flow to others.
(e) Do not be greedy. Greed and the love of money are the root of all evil, and they are where all forms of human corruption are deeply rooted.
(f) Pray. Prayer touches the hands of God.
(g) Seek God wholeheartedly. Live a life marked by humility, trusting in the power of faith over human intellect or understanding.
We are human, imperfect, and prone to sin from time to time. But the reason we are still alive today, and in the days to come, is because God has allowed it, so that we may grow and become a better version of ourselves each day, throughout the year, and for the years ahead.
Be richly blessed!
