This afternoon in my class, one of my students asked to leave the room to answer the call of nature. Because of my strict English Only Policy (EOP), the student did his best to express his intention in English.

Student: โ€œExcuse me, maโ€™am. May I go outside?โ€
Me: โ€œWhy? What will you do outside?โ€
Student: โ€œI will EAT water.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜…

I let out a small chuckleโ€”not to make fun, but because his effort was truly endearing. Mistakes like โ€œI will eat waterโ€ are part of the learning process, and I deeply appreciated how he followed the English Only Policy despite the struggle. Itโ€™s those brave little moments that make teaching so rewarding.

I donโ€™t know if kami lang ba but I somehow find this attraction a tourist trap. Paid for 500 baht for this ride, naga stop ang boat man to encourage everyone to buy from strores. One of their well-known scripts is โ€œBuy here, family. Weโ€™re familyโ€. However, this is really worth a try especially for first timers in thailand ๐Ÿฅฐ

One of my Taiwan trip highlights was to visit this university which was also fictionally known as the National Ying De University of the most iconic Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. โค๏ธ

Sobra ka happy pag visit ani na lugar because I can remember my grade-4 self na ginakilig ani na salida. My notebooks, shirts og even posters sa kwarto kay puro ilang nawng. The experience really hits different especially now that San Cai is gone. ๐Ÿฅน

This University is located at Chiayi Township which is a 3-hr bus drive from Taipei and 1 hr 27 mins through High Speed Rail.

Taipei- Chiayi (Bus) Php 739
Taipei- Chiayi (HSR) - Pho 1,639

In our case, we took the High Speed Rail because limited lang ang time namin sa Taiwan. Then from the HSR station, we need to ride a bus for 30mins -1 hr or hail a cab for 20 mins. Pero yung bus is just travelling every 4 hrs kaya sayang yung time if di mo naabotan. So we opted na taxi ang sakyan.

So, if you decide to go to Taiwan please take time to visit here if Fan ka ng meteor Garden. For sure, di mo malilimotan ang experience na ito.
