There is a place in Japan that quietly became home to me, not because of the building but because of the people inside it. I walked in thinking I was there to teach, but somewhere along the way, the students taught me too. They reminded me how to laugh freely, how to be curious again, and how to enjoy the simple joys that adults often forget.

The simple laughter, the small jokes, and the games we played slowly became part of my routine. When you reach adulthood, games are not really a thing anymore. Everyone is busy making a living, carrying responsibilities, and trying to stay strong. But with them, I found myself playing again, smiling again, and feeling that lightness I thought I had outgrown.

I thought I was the teacher, but they brought back the kid in me. They reminded me of the part that loves learning, playing, imagining, and connecting without fear. These memories, gentle and chaotic and funny and heartfelt, are treasures I will carry with me. This chapter is something I will always hold close, even as seasons change.

Hello! Kamusta po kayo? It’s been a while πŸ₯°
Some of you might remember this page as Katie’s Closet, my small space for selling clothes back when life was simpler and I was still in the Philippines.

I’ve been living in Japan for three years now, and ang dami nang nagbago. I miss home, I miss familiar faces, and honestly… I miss having a space to share pieces of my life.

So I’m giving this page a new purpose.
From here on, this will be my little living diary, a place to keep stories, moments, and memories from my life in Japan. Simple, honest, and close to my heart.

Thank you for still being here.
I hope you’ll stay with me as I start this new chapter.
