13 RPPP, HANDA SA UNANG BANGSAMORO ELECTION DEBATE!

Kinumpirma ng lahat ng 13 Regional Parliamentary Political Parties (RPPPs) ang kanilang paglahok sa kauna-unahang Bangsamoro election debate sa Huwebes, Agosto 27, sa Notre Dame University sa Cotabato City.

Tatalakayin sa debate ang tatlong pangunahing usapin na haharapin ng 80-member Bangsamoro Parliament: ekonomiya at human development, kapayapaan at seguridad, at mabuting pamamahala.

Magsisimula ang termino ng mga bagong halal na parliamentarians sa Oktubre 30, kasabay ng pagtatapos ng halos walong taong transition period ng BARMM.

PAOLO DUTERTE TO REMULLA: ‘SHOW US THE COMPLETE RECORDS’

Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte challenged Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla to present complete records supporting his claim that Davao City was the “epicenter” of alleged flood control corruption.

Duterte said the investigation should cover all years, projects, names and administrations, stressing that any allegation must be backed by evidence.

He also offered to provide Remulla with DPWH records of completed projects in Davao City’s 1st District, saying: “Kung wala kayo, sabihin ninyo at padadalhan ko kayo.”

Duterte urged the Ombudsman to avoid premature conclusions, saying the institution should seek “katotohanan—not convenient villains.”
