Girl Scouts from Isidro Paredes Elementary School attended the 2026 Provincial Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Camp held at Aglipay National High School from February 6 to 8, 2026, with the theme “Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout.”
The school delegation was composed of 16 Girl Scouts guided by two troop leaders (Titas). The participants led and facilitated camp activities focused on leadership, teamwork, creativity, and adventure. The camp provided a venue for interaction with other Girl Scouts from different schools in the province.
The program included an adventure activity at the Aglipay Cave, where the Girl Scouts conducted group explorations that promoted environmental awareness, cooperation, and discipline. An obstacle course followed, which tested physical endurance, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
The Girl Scouts also conducted skills activities, including cookfest, bouquet making, and gadget making. During the cookfest, the participants prepared Talunggay P**o with Cheese, demonstrating food preparation skills and the use of local ingredients.
On the first night, a Titas Night was held to promote interaction between the Girl Scouts and their troop leaders. During the activity, Ms. Marieta A. Dela Cruz, one of the troop leaders, received the award Best in Bohemian Attire.
On the second night, a Ramp Model activity was conducted for the Girl Scouts, where Samantha Gabrielle M. Gelacio was recognized for her creative attire.
The camp ended with an awards and recognition ceremony that acknowledged participation and performance during the activities. The provincial camp highlighted the role of Girl Scouts in organizing, participating, and completing scouting activities.
