Straight from my Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training Batch 6 at Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort, went to Be Grand Resort for the BIM2025 Race Kit Claiming.

My running journey started way back 2013 with a 6KM HRACC Fun Run at Cebu City. But it was in 2014 that my interest grows about marathons and thought about it through. I then told myself if others can do it why can't I. Nakasuway sad ta anang nakuyapan while nagpractice oy black out. 🀣 I started slowly walking to jogging/running and vice versa. I was able to finish 5-10-12-21-42-50KM runs (50KM thrice, nagplano pa gani unta ko mag 50KM pataas, hahaha samukas akong ga agresibo) thereafter without real preparation pana ha unlike other runners do. If I think about it now I'm laughing. Before any run, I just practice three or two weeks before with short runs. Makamedal man sad oi. It was too risky. Yes! Your body aches all over. And I could really tell after that preparation is key. πŸ˜… Magkamang after a run inag abot sa house βœ… manawag ug inahan aria sako Cebu from Bohol kay nagkaluya sa dagan βœ… wa may tarong practice! 🀣

Pero, Speaking of pain. Nothing can compare to the pain of labor and childbirth oi. So kaning pagdagan wala rajud ni katiting. My last 21KM run was March 2023 at Davao International Marathon. Month after that April 2013 run, I was pregnant to my first born. My son now is 1 year and 7 months old. So this is like a come back run. So help me God!
So excited! πŸ«ΆπŸ½πŸ€™πŸΌπŸ˜ Maguyon Keith

Your breastmilk is amazing.

- Water makes up about 87% of breast milk, crucial for keeping the baby hydrated and maintaining bodily fluids. It ensures that breast milk is easily digestible and provides necessary hydration for the infant's system.

- Lactose, the primary carbohydrate, is a significant energy source for the baby. It plays a vital role in brain and nervous system development, aids calcium absorption, and promotes the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.

- Fat in breast milk offers essential fatty acids like DHA and ARA, important for brain development and visual acuity. Fats support the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) and are crucial for overall growth.

- Proteins in breast milk, primarily whey and casein, are essential for immune function, tissue repair, and the production of enzymes and hormones. Whey protein is easily digestible, while casein provides a steady supply of amino acids.

- Breastmilk is rich in vitamins necessary for various bodily functions. Vitamin A supports vision and immune health, vitamin D is crucial for bone health, vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, and vitamin K is essential for blood clotting.

- Minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, and zinc are present in breast milk. Calcium is vital for bone growth, iron for red blood cell formation, magnesium for muscle and nerve function, and zinc for immune function and DNA synthesis.

- Antibodies, particularly immunoglobulin A (IgA), form a protective layer in the baby's intestines, boosting the immune system and guarding against infections.

- Enzymes like lipase and amylase aid in digesting fats and carbohydrates, enhancing nutrient absorption, which is crucial for early growth.

- Hormones in breast milk, such as leptin and ghrelin, regulate appetite and metabolism, helping control hunger cues and supporting healthy weight gain.

- Oligosaccharides, the third most abundant component, promote beneficial gut bacteria growth and prevent harmful bacteria adhesion, supporting digestive health and boosting immune function.

Every drop of breastmilk is pure nourishment! It’s a gift that adapts, protects, and nurtures in ways that are nothing short of extraordinary.
