June 25, 2025// The Provincial Veterinary Office conducted NCD and fowl pox vaccination to the privilege beneficiaries of the 2,000,000 worth Ready to Lay Chicken project under the Livestock Economic Enterprise Development (LEED) Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA). Doctor Neil P. Rosillo led the activity and he was also assisted by Mr. Nicolas B. Cuadra and Alan S. Patayon, Municipal Agriculture's livestock technicians.
Further, they also conducted monitoring to ensure success of the program to meet the egg production requirement in our Municipality, as well as to augment farmer's income.
Ang Kahugpungan Alang sa Kalambuang Agraryo (AKAKA) wherein located at barangay Sta. Cruz and Panamaon Consumers Cooperative (Paconco) are the two registered cooperatives which received the generous livelihood grant. These two coops received a module with 1200 RTL chickens, feeds, drugs, biologics, and housing, valued at Php 2,000,000.00 from the DA. The project will provide ample opportunity for the cooperatives to grow socially and economically. Moreover this intensified program of the government will boost egg production in our Municipality.
On the other hand, they also administered vaccination on the Santiago Women's 300 hds RTL chicken under Babayeng May Itlog Program of the Provincial Veterinary Office. Tomorrow the team will continue the activity to the other RTL beneficiaries in our Municipality. Dalaygon and Ginoo!
