FINALLY — THE SUPREME COURT SPOKE, AND THE TRUTH PREVAILED!🇵🇭⚖️
In a landmark ruling, the Supreme Court officially stopped any attempt to arrest or surrender Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa to the ICC or any foreign authority. The Court clearly stated:
“There is no domestic law authorizing this; surrendering him would bypass our Constitution and our safeguards.”
✅ What this means:
This is NOT just for one person — it is a HUGE VICTORY for every Filipino! 💪
- The ICC has NO authority here. We withdrew from the Rome Statute in 2019; their orders are null and void in our land.
- The Philippines is SOVEREIGN and INDEPENDENT. We have our own laws, our own courts, and our own justice system — over 125 years strong. No foreign power, no foreign court, no foreign order rules over us.
- NO ONE — not the President or any official — has the power to surrender Filipinos abroad or sell our sovereignty for politics. This stops the abuse of using foreign powers to settle scores or silence critics!
For months, we heard lies: “We must respect international bodies” or “Warrants apply everywhere”. Today, the Supreme Court answered loud and clear: NO! 🚫
We bow to NO foreign master. Our Constitution comes FIRST, ALWAYS. This is the triumph of our laws and our freedom!
We celebrate this victory today not as partisans, but as proud Filipinos. Long live the rule of law!
