DIPOLOG CITY – Governor Darel Dexter T. Uy has ordered the Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office to launch a swift and aggressive investigation into the fatal shooting of Al Marlon Pagente Amorado in Barangay Estaka, Dipolog City, on the evening of June 24.

Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, Governor Uy extended his condolences to the victim's family and described the attack as a blatant disregard for human life and a direct challenge to the peace and order being built across the province.

"Lawlessness has no place in Zamboanga del Norte, and it will not be tolerated," the Governor stressed.

Governor Uy said he has directed Provincial Director PCOL Reydante E. Ariza to deploy all necessary resources to identify, locate, and arrest the perpetrators. A dedicated tracker team has been reviewing CCTV footage, establishing the motive behind the crime, and pursuing the riding-in-tandem suspects.

He also confirmed his close coordination with Dipolog City Mayor Roberto Y. Uy and law enforcement authorities to strengthen security measures, support ongoing dragnet operations, and ensure the immediate delivery of justice.

While police intensify patrols across Dipolog City, Governor Uy urged the public to remain calm, stay vigilant, and immediately report any information that could help identify the suspects.

"The safety of our people remains our highest priority," Governor Uy said. "Securing our province is a shared responsibility, and together we will ensure that justice is served swiftly and decisively."

Gipanawagan usab sa mga Dapitanon nga unta hatagan ug patas nga hustisya ang panudlanan sa Dapitan nga kaniadto gi-usikan sa kanhing namunoan.

Karong bag-o pa lang sa piyesta sa Dipolog "Complete Attendance" sa pagpamiyesta ang nga Rated BUJAG sa LGU Dapitan kay sumala pa misanong sila sa mga pag-imbita ni Mayor Belen ug Berto Uy.
