As we commemorate the EDSA People Power Revolution, we must do more than remember— we must resist. We must educate ourselves on the harsh realities of our society and stand firmly with the oppressed and the marginalized. We are still far from genuine democracy. Power remains in the hands of political dynasties, greedy capitalists, and self-serving opportunists who exploit the people for their own gain.
Silence is complicity. Neutrality is surrender.
Participate in educational discussions. Organize walkouts. Mobilize for strikes. March in the streets. Raise your voices until the structures of injustice are dismantled and the systems that oppress us are overthrown. The struggle did not end in 1986— it continues today.
We owe it to those who fought before us. We refuse to allow another dictatorship to rise. We refuse to forget.
Never Again. Never Forget.
