AirFIBER will be having its CHRISTMAS and THANKSGIVING PARTY for its Personnel at their Corporate Headquarters in Cavite from 21-22 December. Fiber Cut has been detected at around 11:00AM affecting areas of STA. LUCIA and KINABUHAYAN. The cut has been located and currently being spliced. We appeal to Private Citizen, LGU, DENR to please exercise extreme caution in clearing operations. Our LINE was severed due to careless clearing of trees.

Fiber Cut has been addressed. Connection restored 10:24AM. Had it not been for the heavy rains, we could have restored line even in the evening. Be informed, that FIBER CUT was due to the CLEARING ACTIVITY of the Barangay and we are not at fault.

We encountered a FIBER CUT in our line, affecting the areas of BUNGOY and DAGATAN.

Our Technical Team were already deployed to locate the cut. We shall keep you posted.

UPDATE:
03:00 PM: Upon verification, the Barangay was clearing tree branches and our MAIN LINE was severrly cut. Our TECHNICAL TEAM are currently trying to restore connection.

07:00 PM: Restoration was hampered by heavy rainfall.

FIBER CUT located and is currently being addressed. Hopeful for a favorable weather for unhampered activity.

We shall continue to provide updates and we hope to resume service within the morning if weather permits.

AirFIBER ADVISORY:

We encountered a FIBER CUT in our Main Line affecting the areas of Pinagdanlayan, San Mateo, Cabatang. Much as we want to work on the damaged line overtime even during night time, however, inclement weather persist, making it unsafe for our Technical Personnel to proceed.
