🚨 PUBLIC REMINDER
I am aware of the Facebook post concerning me, including the accusations made against me, the publication of my personal information and photographs, and the posting of screenshots of our private conversations.
If you have a legitimate financial claim against me, there are proper legal channels available to you. Publicly accusing me of being a “professional scammer,” exposing personal information, and publishing private/intimate conversations is not a substitute for pursuing a claim through the proper legal process.
I did not give you consent to publicly publish or disseminate our private conversations or personal information.
Please be reminded that the following Philippine laws may be relevant to the acts described above:
• Republic Act No. 11313 – Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law), particularly Section 12 on gender-based online sexual harassment, which includes unauthorized sharing of photos, videos, or information online and certain forms of online sexual harassment and reputational harm.
• Republic Act No. 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, particularly provisions concerning psychological violence, harassment, stalking, public ridicule or humiliation, and conduct causing or likely to cause mental or emotional suffering in the context of a covered relationship.
• Republic Act No. 10175 – Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, particularly cyber libel involving defamatory publications made through a computer system.
• Articles 353–355 of the Revised Penal Code, concerning libel and defamatory publications.
• Republic Act No. 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012, insofar as its provisions may apply to the unauthorized processing or disclosure of personal information.
This is therefore a formal reminder and demand that you:
1. Immediately remove the post concerning me;
2. Remove the screenshots of our private conversations and any other private material;
3. Stop reposting, sharing, forwarding, or otherwise disseminating the material; and
4. Refrain from publishing further statements or personal information concerning me in a manner that may constitute harassment, humiliation, or unlawful defamation.
If you believe you have a legitimate claim against me, you may pursue it through the proper legal process. I am prepared to address any legitimate claim through the appropriate forum.
I am preserving copies of the post, screenshots, messages, and other relevant electronic evidence for appropriate legal purposes.
This matter will be handled through the proper legal channels from this point forward.
Please govern yourself accordingly.
