We are the Lord’s sacred possession. He cares for us and will even fight for us.
Despite all He has done for us, we have still rejected Him, did not care and did not love Him. He is our Provider, our Healer, our Creator, the King of kings, our Savior but we do not acknowledge Him.
We even rebel against Him and worship our work, possessions, money, jewelries and more. These have become our gods.
We cannot be slaves to these. These will ruin us!
Our own evil will punish us and we will learn how bitter and wrong it is to neglect the Lord.
We will be disgraced because we turned away from God instead of turning to Him. When in trouble, the only God we can call upon is the God above. Begging that He come and save us because the world-made-god can’t hear and save us.
To whatever extent and far we have turned from God He still bids us to turn back to Him. “Unfaithful one, come back to me. I am merciful and will not be angry; I will not be angry with you forever. Only admit that you are guilty and that you have rebelled against the Lord, your God.” Jeremiah 3:12-13.
He will get you out from the slavery of sin and He will make you an heir of His heavenly Kingdom.
