Rider rammed Bus in Ayungon, NegOr

A smooth motorcycle ride turned into a nightmare when a rider crashed directly into a bus along the National Highway in Brgy. Iniban, Ayungon, Negros Oriental on July 30, Wednesday at around 2:47 in the afternoon. The driver certain “Freddie” is a Barangay official of Brgy. Cangharay Jimalalud, Negros Oriental.

In the report, the Public Utility Bus and the motorcycle were traveling in the same direction when the bus abruptly stopped in the middle of the highway to pick up a passenger who was waiting at the roadside. Unfortunately, due to the unexpected stop, the motorcycle was unable to avoid a collision and was pinned into the rear portion of the bus.

The crash victim was severely injured and was brought to Bindoy District Hospital for medical attention while the Bus driver voluntarily surrendered at Ayungon Police Station. RAB

MOTORCYCLES COLLIDED IN ZAMBOAGUITA

Two motorcycles going in the same direction collided and causing injuries in Sitio Bangculotan, Brgy Mayabon, Zamboanguita Negros Oriental at around 3:30 in the afternoon of July 29, Tuesday,

In a police report by PNP Zamboanguita, a 62-year-old habal-habal driver, with passenger, and another motorcycle driven by a 21-year-old lady driver were involved in the accident.

The police said that upon noticing their checkpoint, the habal-Habal driver maneuvered to the right side of the highway. Unfortunately, another motorcycle hit them from behind, driven by a 21-year-old student.

Police added, the lady driver sprawled on the road causing her injury and was unconscious. She was immediately brought by rescue vehicle to Provincial Hospital in Dumaguete for medical attention. RAB
