Bungsuan National High School proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its 3x3 Basketball Boys Team, who secured the Bronze Medal during the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet 2026 held in Passi City.

Representing the Province of Capiz with pride and determination, the team demonstrated grit, teamwork, and resilience throughout the competition. Their hard work paid off as they rose among the region’s best, earning a well-deserved spot on the podium.

The team is composed of Sydney Sheldon D. Cordero, John Renan L. Esler, James Andrew R. Hinguilo, and Saverjhon P. Lanaban, under the guidance of their dedicated coach, Leonil F. Fresnido.

This achievement reflects not only the athletes commitment to excellence but also the unwavering support of the school, coaches, and the community. Their victory for BNHS continues to prove that with discipline, unity, and passion, success is always within reach.

Celebrating a historic milestone, the 50th Foundation Day of Bungsuan National High School was highlighted by a magnificent Coronation Program, honoring the newly crowned Mr. & Ms. Foundation Day in a celebration filled with pride and prestige.

The spotlight shone brightly on Joliver M. Fusin and Mary Janet M. Deasong, who were officially crowned as the BNHS Mr. & Ms. Foundation Day, marking a golden chapter in the school’s legacy.
The momentous event was elevated by captivating performances from dynamic dance numbers and soulful singing to cultural showcases, blending tradition and modern artistry that energized the entire celebration.

Culminating in a grand royal dance, the celebration symbolized unity, grace, and BNHS’s steadfast commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. More than a coronation, the event served as a powerful reminder of five decades of excellence as BNHS continues to advance innovation and champion service in its Golden Year.

Kicking off the celebration of its 50th Foundation Day, Bungsuan National High School successfully held the Color Fun Run on February 26, 2026, at 5:00 a.m.

The run started from Tamulalod, Dumarao, Capiz and ended at the finish line in front of the Bungsuan Barangay Hall, Bungsuan, Dumarao, Capiz, bringing together the community in a vibrant display of unity and school spirit.

The activity was participated in by the faculty and staff, students, PTA officers, barangay officials of Bungsuan, SK chairpersons from different barangays in Dumarao, and other school stakeholders, all sharing the same enthusiasm and commitment.

More than a fun run, the event symbolized togetherness, active living, and the strong partnership that continues to support the school’s journey of excellence over the past five decades.
