A remarkable celebration of academic achievement unfolded today, September 1, 2025, at the open ground of J. H. Cerilles State College (JHCSC) Dumingag Campus, as the institution recognized its Dean’s Listers for the Second Semester of Academic Year 2024–2025.

Certificates of recognition and cash incentives were conferred to the awardees as a recognition of their hard work, discipline, and academic excellence.

At its core, this awarding ceremony was made possible through the joint efforts of Dumingag Campus Director, Dr. Moises Glenn G. Tangalin; the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS); the dedicated Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) officials; alongside the faculty and staff of the institution.

The ZamPen Native Chicken became one of the featured highlights during the Kapehan sa JHCSC held at Pagadian Extension Campus in celebration of JHCSC's 24th Founding Anniversary.

The event was graced by the presence of Governor Divina Grace Yu; Dumingag Municipal Mayor, Hon. Gerry T. Paglinawan; San Miguel Municipal Mayor, Hon. EX D. Ocapan; and other Board Members--underscoring their strong support for local initiatives in agriculture and community development.

Undoubtedly, the Kapehan sa JHCSC served as a platform for dialogue between leaders, educators, and stakeholders, thereby strengthening collaborative efforts toward food security and rural development in the region.

The JHCSC School of Graduate Studies (SGS) successfully held its Graduate Students’ Orientation Cum Campus Tour last August 23, 2025 at JHCSC-Dumingag Campus Library.

This event welcomed new graduate students, introduced key officials and services, and elected SGS Student Council Officers. Moreover, this event also serves as an important step in preparing future professionals in education, agriculture, and other fields, helping them prepare for their graduate journey.
