Join us this ๐๐๐น๐ ๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ as we kick off the ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต (๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ) with a non-competitive, awareness-driven motorcycle ride advocating for Road Safety for All. Two waves of riders will simultaneously depart from Barangay Irawan, PPC, Palawanโone heading north to El Nido, the other south to Batarazaโbefore returning to the PDRRMO Headquarters for a solidarity program.
Spearheaded by the Palawan Provincial DRRM Office (PDRRMO) in partnership with the City DRRM Office of Puerto Princesa and the League of LDRRMOs of Palawan, with support from William Tan Enterprises Inc., Caltex, and CHIEF, this initiative underscores the critical role of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in building disaster-resilient communities.
This "chill ride" promotes responsible riding behavior in accordance with RA 4136, emphasizing respect for speed limits and road safety regulations.
At the culminating program, riders will publicly commit to one of the Five Pillars of Road Safety, take a pledge photo, and post their chosen advocacy onlineโto inspire others and champion a culture of safety on the road.
