The 4th Year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students successfully conducted their Pre-Oral Defense for their Feasibility Study last October 14, 2025, held at the Conference Room of Mount Carmel College of Escalante, Inc.

This significant milestone marks a crucial step toward the completion of their academic journey as they showcased their business proposals, research skills, and entrepreneurial insights.

The College of ICT & Engineering (CICTE) and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Program successfully conducted a Training-Workshop on “Information for Transformation: Personal Development through Library and Information Science” and “Ethicpreneur: Doing Business the Right Way” last September 25, 2025 at BJMP Escalante City, Negros Occidental.

This meaningful activity was conducted in partnership with BJMP Escalante City, State University of Northern Negros, and Mount Carmel College, with the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) as the primary beneficiaries.

✅ Training-Workshop on Ethicpreneur: Doing Business the Right Way

The workshop emphasized the importance of personal development, education, and ethical entrepreneurship in empowering PDLs towards rehabilitation, transformation, and future reintegration into society.

SUNN Beyond Bars Project x MCCEI BREAK Project

Last August 22, 2025, BJMP Escalante, Barangay Hacienda Fe, Escalante City, became a hub of learning and empowerment! This collaborative initiative between SUNN’s College of Information, Technology, and Engineering and MCCEI’s BSBA program focused on the growth and development of our PDLs (Persons Deprived of Liberty).

The event featured two inspiring sessions:
💻 Ms. Cristina R. Lausa, MIT – Digital Skills Behind Bars: A Basic Computer Literacy
💰 Mr. Joshua Bejie Pabalunan – AccountAbility: Building Financial Skills

As part of the course subject Good Governance and Social Responsibility, MCCEI students also donated hygiene kits to promote health, care, and dignity among the PDLs.
