In a significant academic achievement, 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐔) has taken the 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 among State Universities and Colleges in Region VI. This recognition comes from the latest 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐃 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. The university also earned an impressive 15𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨

The AD Scientific Index is a real-time academic ranking system that evaluates institutions using measures such as H-index, i10-index, and citation counts. NISU stood out as the leading university among state colleges and universities in Region VI, highlighting its increasing impact and productivity in research.

On the national level, NISU ranks 15th among all higher education institutions in the Philippines. This achievement reflects the university's dedication to scholarly excellence.

𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

NISU’s ranking benefits from the hard work of its faculty members. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐃. 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨, known for his expertise in Distributed Systems, Data Mining, Telematics, Deep Learning, and Data Security, ranks among the top researchers with a notable H-index in the Last 5 Years category.

Several other researchers from NISU, including Dr. Allemar Jhone P. Delima, Dr. Jan Carlo Arroyo, Prof. Daryl Lustracion Superio, and Dr. Felipe P. Vista IV, are also recognized in various fields. Their contributions enhance the university’s scientific output and impact.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬

At the same time, holding the 15th rank nationally indicates its rising status and competitiveness among both public and private universities in the Philippines.

These results promote ongoing growth and recognition of NISU as a research center. The institution can maintain this momentum by continuing to invest in faculty development, infrastructure, and publication support.

It emphasizes the need not only to adopt and use AI, but to do so responsibly.
